Changing the Grid Line View on Your NX500 Camera
Grid lines can help you compose a scene with your camera. When you first receive your camera, grid lines are off by default, but it is easy to turn on one of several different grid line options.
Grid Line View
Touch the User Settings icon.
Touch Grid Line.
Choose from the Grid Line options.
The available grid line options are as follows:
Off Disable grid lines. 4*4 Set a 4x4 Grid. 3*3 Set a 3 X 3 grid. Cross Set the grid lines as cross hairs. Diagonal Set the grid lines to cross diagonally. Action Safe Area Display grid lines for the current aspect ratio of a video. This is useful when recording a video to fit on another device screen or editing a video. 4:3 Safe Area Display grid lines for a standard TV aspect ratio (4:3). This is useful when recording a video to fit on another device screen or editing a video. 2.35:1 Safe Area Display grid lines for the cinemascope ratio (2.35:1). This is useful when recording a video to fit on another device screen or editing a video.
For this example, touch 4x4 to enable 4x4 grid lines on the screen.
The grid selection you have made will appear.
