Setting Up the Anti-Shake Function on Your Samsung NX1 Camera

If you record a video with the DIS (Digital Image Stabilization) function, the video will be recorded at a narrower angle than the lens’ angle.

Deactivate the DIS function in situations where camera shake does not occur, such as when using tripod. Using the DIS function in such situations may causes the camera to recognize the movement of subjects as camera shake and unintentionally correct the video.

To Set the Anti-Shake Function

  1. Turn on the camera.

  2. Press MENU button.

  3. Tap Video.

  4. Tap DIS (Anti-Shake).

  5. Tap On.

The DIS function is not available in the following situations:

  • When the Smart Filter is set.

  • When a fish-eye lens is attached.

  • When video resolution is set to 1920 x 1080 (120p), 1920 x 1080 (100p), VGA, or MJPEG.

  • When HDMI output is set to 4096 x 2160 (24p) Clean Out, 3840 x 2160 (24p) Clean Out, 3840 x 2160p (30p) Clean Out, or 3840 x 2160p (25p) Clean Out.
