Manage and Access Your Samsung Cloud Storage

As a Samsung customer, you get 15GB of free storage in Samsung Cloud. That means you can sync and back up photos, apps, contacts, data, and so on using Samsung Cloud on your phone. But if you need more, you can purchase additional space at any time. Keep reading to learn about the different subscription plans, how to view your current usage, and upgrade your storage amount. You can also access Samsung Cloud via our web portal, and learn more about viewing your information stored in Samsung Cloud on the web.

Samsung Cloud may not be available depending on your country or carrier.

Cloud Usage

If you aren't sure how much storage you're using, you can check on your phone.

From Settings, search for the touch Samsung Cloud. Touch CLOUD USAGE to see a breakdown of your usage. You can also see your cloud usage by accessing Samsung Cloud on the web.

Note: You will receive a notification before you hit your storage limit.

Storage Options

With a free 15GB of storage, you can save many different files on Samsung Cloud. You can also expand your storage with a subscription plan.

Here are the three storage subscription plans you can choose from:

  • 15GB: Free; anyone with a Samsung phone or tablet gets 15GB to start.

  • 50GB: $0.99 per month; get more storage space by upgrading your account.

  • 200GB: $2.99 per month; our biggest storage plan, so there's plenty of room for all your stuff.

Note: Unlimited storage is provided for preloaded Samsung apps, such as Contacts and Calendar.

Purchase a Subscription Plan

Already running out of free storage? You can purchase one of the subscription plans by following the steps below.

From Settings, search for and touch Samsung Cloud. Touch More Options, and then touch Storage plans. Swipe left or right to select the desired plan, and touch UPGRADE. Touch I agree to accept the Terms and Conditions, and then touch NEXT. Touch BUY, and select a payment method (for example, Samsung Pay or Credit card), and then touch BUY again.

Note: If you do not see an option to purchase more storage, contact Samsung Support for help.
