Using the Power Boost Control Feature on Your Induction Cooktop (NZ95K7880 & NZ74K7880)

The Power Boost Control feature increases the amount of usuable power. For example, when you want to boil a large volume of water.

Power Boost Control

The Power Boost function increases the power output of the corresponding burner. You can use the function when you need to heat something quickly.

• When the Max Boost times expire, the cooking zones' power level will be set to 15.

• In certain situations, the Power Boost feature may be deactivated automatically to protect the cooktop's internal electronic components.

  1. To activate the Power Boost Control feature, touch the Power Boost key of an active burner. P will appear on the burner's display.

  2. After the max boost time has elapsed, the cooking zone's power setting will be set to 15.

Power Management

The cooking zones have a limit to how much power is used. If this limit is exceeded by using the Power Boost Control feature, Power Management automatically reduces the power level of the cooking zone.
