Manage Notifications on Your Watch

Manage Notifications on Your Watch

If you get one more spam email notification on your watch, you're gonna flip. No worries, you can choose which apps send notifications to your watch and how much information is displayed on your screen.

Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch.

Manage App Notifications on Android Phones

Your watch will only receive notifications when it's connected to a phone.

The steps for managing notifications are the same on all Android phones (both Samsung and non-Samsung phones). Follow along with these steps, so you only get important notifications.

On your phone, open Galaxy Wearable, and then touch the SETTINGS tab. Touch Notifications and then touch Manage notifications. For individual apps, touch the slider next to an app to turn notifications on or off.

Note: To turn notifications on or off for all apps, touch the slider at the top of the screen next to ALL APPS.

Manage Notifications on iOS Phones

Your watch will only receive notifications when it's connected to a phone.

If you have an iOS phone, you can still block unwanted notifications on your watch.

Touch a notification you have received on your watch, and then touch More Options. Touch Block notifications. You will not recieve notifcations from that app again.

If you change your mind, you can receive notifications from the blocked app again. On your phone, open Samsung Galaxy Watch, and then touch Settings. Touch Notifications, touch Blocked notifications, and then remove your desired notification from the blocked list.
