Samsung Cloud Premium Subscription FAQs

How do I cancel a subscription with an automatic monthly charge?

  • If you choose 15 GB in “Change storage plan”, your subscription charge will be canceled on the next payment date.

How do I request a refund? Are there any restrictions on refunds?

  • You can request a refund by going to Change storage plan > Premium plan info > Request refund if your Cloud storage is under 15 GB and you paid within 7 (Global) or 14 (EU) days.

When is the next payment due?

  • Payment will be made automatically next month, at the same date and time as your initial purchase. You can see the next payment date in “Change storage plan”.

What do I do when my credit card expires?

  • You can change your credit card by going to Change storage plan > More options > Payment method. Some countries do not support this because of payment gateway company issues. In this case, please terminate your subscription and use your new card to register for a new subscription.

What will happen if my Cloud data exceeds the storage limit (15 GB) after I terminate my subscription?

  • If you do not start a new Cloud storage subscription, you will have 60 days before some of your Cloud data is deleted.

If my Cloud storage does not change within 10 minutes of purchase, what should I do?

  • You request a check on your Cloud storage by going Change storage plan > Premium plan info > Report storage difference.

Where can I find my purchase history?

  • You can find your purchase history by going to Change storage plan > More options > Purchase history and it will show the last 3 years.

Supporting premium plan countries & models

  • Some countries or models do not support the premium plan now. We will gradually expand the coverage.
  • If you change your Samsung account country code from a supported country to an unsupported country, Samsung Cloud premium plan may not be available.
