Capturing Mobile Screenshots from Your Computer with SideSync 4.7

SideSync 4.7 is great when you need to use your phone, but don't feel like picking it up. Phone Screen view is a feature of SideSync that let's you view and capture your phone's screen from your computer.

Capture a Screen on Your Mobile Device from Your Windows PC or Mac®

  1. Before you start the presentation mode, make sure that SideSync is installed on both the mobile device and computer, and are connected using SideSync.

  2. If Phone screen view is not displayed on the computer, Click Phone screen on the SideSync dashboard. 

    If you connect your computer to a tablet, it will show as Tablet screen view.

  3. Click the Down Arrow located on the top of Phone screen, displayed on your computer.

  4. After you decide which screen you want to capture, Click Capture.

  5. The image is stored on your computer, where you set the storage location for received files and captured images.

Change Storage Location on Your Windows PC or Mac®

  1. From the SideSync dashboard, click MORE

  2. Click Settings from the drop-down list box.

  3. Click General.

  4. Click Change under Save received files and captured images to your computer.

    You can always change the default storage location whenever you want.

  5. Select a location on your computer, then click Open.

  6. Screen captures will now be saved in the new location.

Change Storage Location on Your Mobile Device

  1. Navigate to Apps > SideSync on your mobile device. 

  2. Touch More Options.

  3. Touch Settings.

  4. Touch Save received items in to change the storage location.

  5. Swipe through the lists on your mobile device and then touch SideSync.

    You can choose another folder that you want to store the transferred file to or create a new folder on your mobile device.

  6. For this example, touch Create folder to organize your transferred files.

  7. Enter a folder name and then touch CREATE.

  8. You will see your transferred file in the new storage location.

    You can also check the new storage location in the SideSync settings menu.
