Game Launcher FAQ's

How do I enable Game Launcher?

You can activate Game Launcher via the initial notification. The notification will be shown the first time a game is installed on the device or when games are added to a new folder.

You can also navigate to and open Settings, tap Advanced features, and then tap Game Launcher. Tap the switch to turn it on.

Why are my installed games not showing up in Game Launcher?

Some icons may not be shown if the game is removed from the store by the developer, or if the game was not downloaded from a supported store.

I selected No alerts when using Game Launcher, but I am still receiving notifications. Why is this?

"No alerts during games" will blocks calls, messages, notifications, dialogs, and pop-ups. However, alarms set by users and some notifications which have compatibility issues may not be blocked.

Where can I find videos and images taken during games?

When you record videos or take screenshots, the files are added to a folder in the Gallery app under the game's name. You can navigate directly to recorded videos via a pop-up that is shown when the recording is finished.

Note: The Record option in the Game Booster bar is only available on phones with Android 9 or lower. If your phone has Android 10, you can record games using the Screen recorder option in Quick settings.

How can I disable Game Launcher?

Navigate to and open Settings, tap Advanced features, and then tap Game Launcher. Tap the switch to turn it off.

Even if Game Launcher is disabled, Game Booster will still appear in compatible games. To disable it, navigate to Settings, and search for and select Game Booster. Tap Appear on top, and then tap the switch at the top if the screen.

How do I keep showing games on the Home screen or Apps?

Game launcher moves all your games into on place to make them easy to access. If you'd like to access games from the Home screen or Apps, open Game Launcher then tap the Menu. Next, tap the Settings icon, and then tap Show game apps. Choose where you'd like games to appear, and then tap Apply.

This option will not be available if you are using an alternative Home screen app.
