Take a Screenshot on Galaxy Note8
Just ordered those released limited-edition sneakers? Take a screenshot of your receipt and tracking number so you know when your new kicks will arrive. Maybe you finally cleared that level in Candy Crush Saga. Prove it to your friends. A screenshot takes a photo of your screen and saves it to the Gallery.

Ways to Capture a Screenshot
Use the Phone Keys
Because we always like to give you options, there are a few ways to capture a screenshot. Here is the classic method.
To capture a screenshot of the displayed screen, press and hold the Power and Volume Down keys simultaneously.
When the screenshot is captured, the screen will flash as it makes a camera shutter like sound and the Screenshot icon will appear on the Notification bar.
Palm Swipe to Capture
If you’re in the middle of a game with no time to spare, you can simply swipe your palm across the screen to take a screenshot. That was easy! Learn how to change your settings so a quick screenshot is never more than a swipe away.
To enable Palm swipe to capture, navigate to Apps > Settings.
Touch Search, and then search for and select Palm swipe to capture.
To turn on or turn off Palm swipe to capture, touch the slider.
Palm swipe to capture is enabled by default.
Take a screenshot by swiping the edge of your hand across the screen.
View the Captured Screenshots
The screenshot can be viewed immediately through the Notification panel. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Notification panel.
From the Notification panel, swipe down on the Screenshot captured notification.
To open the screenshot, touch the Screenshot captured notification.
To view your screenshots at any time, navigate to Gallery.
