  • Can I add Google Play apps to Samsung Kids?

    Yes, apps from Google Play can be added to the My Apps section of Samsung Kids.  Once Google Play apps have been added, parents can set time limits, monitor usage and prevent unwanted access to emails, text messages and social media apps.  Follow the instructions below to get started.

    1. Enter the Parents section of Samsung Kids, and select the appropriate child profile.
    2. Touch Apps & Videos and then select Add Apps from Device.
    3. Select the apps you wish to add, when finished touch Save.
    4. Exit the Parents Section. The selected apps can be found in the My Apps section.
  • Can I use Samsung Kids on multiple Samsung phones and/or tablets?

    Yes, simply download Samsung Kids from Google Play or the Galaxy Apps Store, and login using your username and password, or your Google/Samsung login details.  It’s important to use the same sign- in method that you originally signed up with, or your Samsung Kids account won’t sync properly once activated on additional phones or tablets.  You can access your Samsung Kids account on up to five (5) devices simultaneously.  

  • I have already subscribed to Samsung Kids, but I’m being asked to re-enter my billing details.  What should I do?

    This is likely occurring because you are attempting to access Samsung Kids using a different sign-up method (e.g., Google Sign-In, Samsung Sign-In) than you used to establish your account.  To fix, delete the Samsung Kids app from your device, re-download from Google Play or the Galaxy Apps Store, and sign-in using the same method used to setup your account originally.  

  • I have subscribed to Samsung Kids, but the app won’t allow me to login.  What should I do?

    This is likely occurring because you are attempting to access Samsung Kids using a different sign-up method (e.g., Google Sign-In, Samsung Sign-In) than you used to establish your account.  

  • How do I delete the Samsung Kids app from my Samsung phone or tablet?

    Samsung Kids comes pre-installed on select tablets, and due to a limitation of the operating system, cannot be completely deleted.  You can turn off the Samsung Kids app by following the steps below.  

    1. Navigate to and select Settings on your phone or tablet, then select Apps.
    2. Navigate to and select  Samsung Kids.
    3. Touch FORCE STOP, then select FORCE STOP to confirm..
    4. Touch DISABLE or UNINSTALL. If the app is pre-installed on the device it cannot be uninstalled.


  • Can I get a refund on gifts purchased?

    Samsung Kids gift purchases are non-refundable. Gift purchases are valid for five (5) years from date of purchase.

  • Can I transfer my Samsung Kids gift to a different email after it has been redeemed?

    Unfortunately, gifts are non-transferable. Once a gift is redeemed, the email address may be changed in the Parent Dashboard.

  • When does my 1-year Samsung Kids gift start?

    The 1-year period will begin when the gift code is redeemed in the Samsung Kids app. 

  • Can I purchase a monthly subscription of Samsung Kids as a gift?

    We only offer 1-year Samsung Kids gifts at this time.

  • What devices is Samsung Kids available on?

    Samsung Kids App can be downloaded on Samsung Galaxy phone S4 and above, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and above, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and above, Samsung Galaxy Tab S and A and Samsung Galaxy View.

  • Can I purchase a Samsung Kids gift for someone located outside the US?

    No. The Samsung Kids app is only available in the US.

  • I purchased a Samsung Kids gift, but the gift code was never received. What should I do?

    Gift codes are sent by email. Please confirm the email isn’t in your junk mail folder or routed to the promotions tabs. If the email containing the gift codes cannot be located, please call Samsung Customer Care for a new gift code.

  • Can I purchase multiple gifts?

    Yes. There is no purchase limit on gift codes.

  • Can gift codes be purchased on Samsungkids.com from outside of the US?

    Buyers need a US billing address to purchase a Samsung Kids gift. Likewise, Samsung Kids gifts need to be redeemed in the US on a supported device.
