Change Samsung Pay PIN

Think someone got a peek at your PIN when you were making a purchase? Change it so your account stays secure. If your phone has biometric scanners, use your fingerprint or irises to experience faster payments and a more secure app. If you forget your PIN for Samsung Pay, you will need to Reset Samsung Pay.

Change Samsung Pay PIN

Even if you have biometric security set up, you will still need a Samsung Pay PIN to activate, deactivate, and reset these security features. Don't forget to change your Samsung Pay PIN at least once a month to keep it secure.

  1. Open Samsung Pay on your phone.

  2. Touch More Options > Settings.

  3. Touch Change Samsung Pay PIN.

  4. Change your PIN by following the on-screen instructions.

    Note: Your new PIN cannot contain the same number 3 or more times in a row.

Forgot My Samsung Pay PIN

Did you forget your Samsung Pay PIN? Don't worry, you can still get into your account. Just reset the Samsung Pay app, register your cards again, and try not to forget your PIN next time.

To reset Samsung Pay, open Samsung Pay on your phone. Touch More Options, and then touch Settings. Swipe to and touch Reset app, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
