Use Power Saving Modes on Your Phone

Never let a low battery surprise you again. Use your phone's different power saving modes to make its battery last longer every day or in critical situations.

Note: Available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider, software version, and phone model. The use of power saving modes can affect app and device performance; some tasks and features may take longer to complete or update. Additionally, apps running in the background may not receive updates or send you notifications when power saving modes are turned on.

Medium power saving mode

There's a long day ahead of you, and you want your phone to stay on from morning to night. Use Medium power saving mode to make sure your battery lasts all day.

From Settings, search for and select Power mode. To turn on Medium power saving mode, tap Medium power saving. To apply power saving mode settings, tap Apply.

Note: Power saving mode options can be customized before tapping Apply. You can turn on AOD (Always On Display) as well as background network usage, but keep in mind this will affect the battery life extension.

From Settings, search for and select Power mode. To turn on Maximum power saving mode, tap Maximum power saving. To apply power saving mode settings, tap Apply.

Note: Power saving mode options can be customized before tapping Apply.
