Log in with Windows Hello and biometrics on your Samsung PC
It's pretty scary when someone else finds out the PIN or password for your PC. Fortunately, your face and fingerprints will always be unique just to you. With the Window Hello feature, you can use biometric security to log into your PC for a safe log-in every time.
Note: Windows Hello is not available in all of Windows 10 PC devices. It requires specialized hardware, such as a Fingerprint reader, an IR sensor, or other biometric sensors.
Set up Windows Hello and your biometrics
Note: You must set up a Windows 10 PIN before you can use Windows Hello.
If you set this up you won’t have to put in your password anymore. How great does that sound?
Click Start, and then click Settings. Click Accounts, and then click Sign-in options. If you haven't already created a PIN, click Add under PIN. Enter a desired PIN and then click OK. Then, click Set up for Fingerprint and Face. Click Get started, and then follow the on-screen prompts to complete the set up. If you are setting up facial recognition, verify that the switch next to Automatically unlock the screen if we recognize your face is turned on.
If you want to change the face or finger, click Remove and then re-register by following the setup again.
To turn off Windows Hello, remove all of the registered biometrics that have been added.
