Make your Doodles come to life on your Galaxy phone

S Pen doodling on a girl's face

If you're looking for some creative inspiration, you should check out AR Doodle. With this new feature, you can use your phone's camera to create AR drawings on whatever you see in front of you. For example, you can draw a silly mustache on your friend or write an endearing message to send to a loved one.

Note: Not all phones support the S Pen features.

Create an AR Doodle

AR Doodle videos are perfect for saying hi, congratulating someone, or just having a bit of AR fun. No matter the reason, making an AR drawing is super entertaining.

Open the Camera app, and then tap MORE. Tap AR ZONE, and then tap AR Doodle - it looks like a squiggle. Then, follow the on-screen instructions. AR Doodle may need to be calibrated by panning around the room.

Tap the circle in the bottom right corner to switch between the selfie and rear-facing cameras. Next, select your desired pen or art tool, and then choose your desired color. Use an S Pen or your finger to draw on the camera’s selected area. Your strokes will magically appear in front of you. When you are done drawing, tap the Record icon to record a video of your AR drawing. When you're done, the video will be saved in Gallery.
