Set the Sleep Timer on your Samsung TV or projector

If you like to fall asleep with your TV, Odyssey Ark, or projector on, you are not alone. However, you shouldn't leave them on all night. The Sleep Timer is here to help by shutting your device off automatically after a set amount of time.

Set the Sleep Timer on your Samsung TV or projector

Note

If the option is grayed out, it's because you need to change the TV source or an HDMI source. An app cannot be open in the background.

Sleep Timer

If watching TV helps you get to sleep at night, set the Sleep Timer to have your device turn off once you fall asleep. Using your remote, navigate to Settings (All Settings) > General (General & Privacy) > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer, and then select the amount of time you would like the TV or projector to stay on before powering itself off. You can set the Sleep Timer up to 180 minutes, after which your device will turn off.
