Take photos in the dark with your Galaxy phone or tablet

There's no need to miss an important event or moment with your friends just because of low lighting. With the advanced Night mode on Galaxy phones and tablets, you can take photos in the dark and get vivid images without using the camera's flash. If you have a newer phone or tablet model, it will come with Super Bright Night or Ultra Bright Night technology for precise pictures in low or dim lighting. The Galaxy S25 series includes Galaxy AI Nightography, which allows you to capture sharper, smoother, and brighter quality images as well. Use Night mode

Illuminate your photos and videos with Night mode on your Galaxy phone or tablet.

  1. To begin, open the Camera app, and then swipe to and tap MORE.
  2. Tap NIGHT, and then tap the zoom icons if you'd like to get a closer shot.
  3.  Tap Capture when you’re ready to take your photo.
     

Night mode uses multi-frame processing to combine 30 images into one clear photo. The extra light captured by the phone or tablet's camera sensors will help your photos appear bright and enhanced.
