Use Audio eraser on Samsung phones and tablets

Audio eraser on Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets uses AI analysis to differentiate and categorize sound types and remove noise from videos. You can eliminate distracting noises by adjusting the volume of voices, wind, and other sounds in Video Editor.

Use Audio eraser on Samsung phones and tablets

Audio eraser is available on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, S25+, S25, S25 FE, S24 Ultra, S24+, S24, S24 FE, Z Fold7, Z Fold6, Z Flip7, Z Flip7 FE, Z Flip6,  Tab S11 Ultra, Tab S11, Tab S10 Ultra, Tab S10+. This feature is not available on the Tab S10 Lite, Tab S10 FE+, Tab S10 FE, or other Galaxy phones or tablets not listed.

How to use Audio eraser

After taking a video, you can edit the audio with Audio eraser by following the steps below.

  1. Navigate to and open the Gallery app, and then select your desired video.
  2. Tap Edit (the pencil icon), and then tap Audio (the speaker icon) on the bottom right.

  3. Tap Audio eraser, and then tap the desired audio option, such as Voices, Music, Noise, Crowd, or Nature, to remove it from the video.

    Note: When using Audio eraser, sounds with a short duration may not be detected, and ambiguous sounds may be misidentified as other sounds with similar characteristics.
  4. Tap the Play icon on the video to watch the playback.
  5. Tap Hear original in the top left corner to hear the original audio.

  6. Tap Auto in the bottom right corner to view the noise levels.
  7. Tap Mute in the bottom right corner to mute the video’s audio.
  8. When you’re finished, tap Apply edits.
  9. Next, tap Save copy to save your edited video to the Gallery app.
