Freshen up winter coats and jackets in the Samsung AirDresser

Freshen up winter coats and jackets in the Samsung AirDresser
- While the AirDresser is versatile, it's not suitable for all fabrics. Silk items are not suitable for use with the AirDresser.
- Always check garment tags for care instructions to avoid damage and ensure you are using the correct cycle for delicate items like fur, leather, and embellished fabrics.
- Items must be washable or hand-washable.
- Silk items are not suitable for use with the AirDresser.
- Do not use the AirDresser for items requiring dry cleaning or heavily soiled garments. These should be cleaned professionally or washed traditionally.
Down items
Down jackets are comfortable and warm since they’re made from the natural plumage of ducks and geese. When adding your down items to your AirDresser, you should use the Down Jackets cycle. It’ll fluff up your jackets, especially if they have been in storage for a while.
To make sure these items get the right amount of air circulation, you can use the middle hanger position in the AirDresser when hanging them. If your down jackets are damp after a long day outside, they can be hung on a clothesline or drying rack overnight. You may also add them to your dryer; however, we recommend using a low-heat setting when doing so.
Wool and cashmere items
Soft and buttery smooth, wool and cashmere are popular choices for winter jackets, coats, and sweaters. There are a few different cycles you can use on your AirDresser with these items. We recommend using the Winter Coat, Wool/Knit, or Suits cycles. Please refer to the care instructions on your garment before selecting a cycle.
Additionally, wool and cashmere items should not be hung on hangers when running a cycle; hanging them may damage and stretch the fabric. Instead, fold these items and place them on the shelf inside your AirDresser before starting a cycle.
Wool and cashmere can be laid flat to air-dry if they are damp. You may place a clean towel underneath the items while they dry.
Fur and leather items
To refresh your beautiful fur and leather items, you should use the Fur/Leather cycle on your AirDresser. We do not recommend using any other cycle, as the Fur/Leather cycle is specifically designed to remove dust and dirt from these delicate fabrics. We also suggest refreshing one item at a time when using this cycle.
Fur and leather items can be laid flat to air-dry if they are damp. You may place a clean towel underneath the items while they dry. Once your fur items are dry, you can use a wide-tooth comb to carefully brush out the fibers.
Alpaca and camel hair items
Caring for alpaca and camel hair coats, jackets, and sweaters is similar to wool and cashmere. In other words, do not hang them up in your AirDresser as this may stretch the delicate fibers. They should be folded and placed on the shelf inside the AirDresser when starting a cycle.
We recommend using either the Winter Coat, Fur/Leather, or Suits cycles for alpaca and camel hair. Please refer to the care instructions on your garment before selecting a cycle.
