Use Tap to Transfer in Samsung Wallet
Tap to Transfer lets you instantly transfer in-person payments between devices using the debit card registered to your Samsung Wallet account. The funds will transfer to the recipients registered debit card, even if they're using Google or Apple Wallet! You can even send remote transfers if the recipient is also using Samsung Wallet.

Use Tap to Transfer in Samsung Wallet
Important
Once a transaction is sent, it cannot be canceled. Be sure to review your payment details before tapping send on your device, or before tapping the recipient's device.
Requirements
Note
You cannot use Tap to Transfer with a credit card. You must send the payment from a registered debit card. You also cannot use Tap to Transfer on a phone that has been rooted.
In order to use Tap to Transfer, you must meet the following requirements.
- Have a Galaxy phone operating Android Q or newer.
- Must have an active Samsung Wallet account with a registered debit card.
- Registered debit card must be Visa or MasterCard. Other types are not currently supported.
- Samsung Wallet must be your phone's default payment app.
- Must be sending to a person who also has a registered debit card in their wallet service or contactless debit card.
- NFC must be enabled on both the sending and receiving phones.
- If transferring to a different wallet service, such as Apple or Google Pay, the recipient must have their wallet app open and approve the transaction on their end.

Send a payment
In-person payments
Complete these steps to send an in-person payment with Tap to Transfer.
- Open the Samsung Wallet app on your phone.
- Swipe to and tap on your debit card.
- Tap tap to transfer under the debit card.
- Review the tutorial and requirements, and then tap Next.
- Enter the amount you want to send, and then tap Next.
- Tap your phone to the back of the recipient's device.
Remote payments
Complete these steps to send a remote payment with Tap to Transfer. Remember the recipient must also use Samsung Wallet with a registered debit card in order to receive remote transfers.
- Open the Samsung Wallet app on your phone.
- Swipe to and tap on your debit card.
- Tap Online transfer under the debit card.
- Tap the recipient's name from your listed contacts.
- Enter the amount you want to send.
- Tap Next.
- Review the details and make sure they are accurate. If so, tap Send.

Transfer Limits
Important
These limits are subject to change without notice. Limits are applicable to both Samsung account and Debit Card level.
There are minimum, maximum, and daily limitations to transfers.
- Daily maximum total of transactions - $100
- Minimum amount per transaction - $1
- Maximum amount per transaction - $100
- Weekly maximum transaction amount - $200
- Monthly maximum transaction amount - $500
There is also a limit to how many transactions are allowed per day and per month.
- Daily transaction maximum - 3 transactions
- Weekly transaction maximum - 7 transactions
- Monthly transaction maximum - 7 transactions

View your Tap to Transfer history
You can view a list of your tap to transfer transactions in Samsung Wallet as long as you don't delete your debit card from the app. Once deleted, the transaction history will also be gone.
- Open Samsung Wallet on your phone.
- Tap on your debit card.
- Tap Transfer next to Payment. A list of your recent transfers will appear here.
