Connect the keyboard cover to your Galaxy Book

Connecting your Galaxy Book to its keyboard cover allows you to use a keyboard and a touchpad, just like if you were using a traditional laptop. It's powered and connected through the keyboard dock port, so there’s no worries about charging it. You can also stand your Galaxy Book upright using the keyboard cover. This cover is part of what makes the Galaxy Book so versatile.

Note

Not all Galaxy Book models have a detachable keyboard.

Attach the cover

When you need to get some multitasking done, attach the Samsung keyboard cover so you can type and use the touchpad. Or, if you want to watch something and need the Galaxy Book propped up, you can use the cover for that too.

First, connect the keyboard dock port at the bottom of the Galaxy Book to the connector on the keyboard cover. Then, lean the Galaxy Book back towards the stand.
Attach the stand to the Galaxy Book and adjust the device until you've reached the desired position.

Important

Be careful when connecting and removing the tablet from the keyboard cover. Make sure that the keyboard cover is securely attached to your device. If not, check the location of the keyboard dock port and reconnect the keyboard cover to your device.
