In order to maximize the capabilities of your Smart TV, you'll want to be connected to the internet. Whether it’s through a wireless or wired connection, accessing the internet on your TV and signing into a Samsung Account will give you access to TV shows and movies, apps, and other TV functions.*

Connect to the internet using Wi-Fi

Connecting to Wi-Fi is the easiest and most seamless way to access the internet on your TV. Make sure you have your wireless network name (SSID) and password before trying to connect.

  1. Use the directional pad on your TV's remote to select Settings, select General, and select Network.
  2. Select Open Network Settings, and select the name of your Wi-Fi network.
  3. Enter the network password, select Done, and then select OK.
2018 models NU7100/NU710D, NU7200, and NU7300/NU730D only support 2.4 Ghz networks. They will not detect 5 Ghz networks. This will cause your Wi-Fi network to not appear on the list.

Connect to the internet using a wired network (Ethernet)

Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the One Connect Box or back of the TV, and then connect the other end to your router or modem.

  1. From the Home screen, use the TV remote to navigate to and select Settings, select General, and select Network.
  2. Select OK, and your TV will connect to the internet.

How to find the MAC address on your Samsung TV

To find the MAC address on your Samsung Smart TV, open the Settings menu, select Support, and then select About this TV or Contact Samsung. You may need to scroll down to display the MAC address.
