Use the different modes on your convertible Samsung refrigerator

Your convertible refrigerator can be used as a regular fridge or as a freezer. You can easily switch between the two modes using the refrigerator’s Feature panel and select the setting that matches what you're putting inside. You’ll be able to check the refrigerator’s current temperature using the panel as well.

1. Press and hold the Temp. button for three seconds to change the modes between Fridge and Freezer.
   
   
   • When Fridge mode is selected, the Fridge indicator will turn on.
   • When Freezer mode is selected, the Freezer indicator will turn on.
2. When using Fridge mode, the temperature can be set between 44°F and 34°F.
3. When using Freezer mode, you can set the temperature between 5°F and -8°F.

The Power Freeze function will increase the fan speed and freezing process in your freezer. This will keep your food as cold as possible for up to 50 hours; after this time, the freezer will return to the previous temperature you’ve set.

1. To activate Power Freeze, press and hold the Power Freeze button for three seconds.
   
   
2. The Power Freeze icon (it looks like a snowflake) will light up and remain on.
3. To turn off the feature, press and hold the Power Freeze button for three seconds.

If you’d like to freeze large amounts of food, you should turn on the Power Freeze mode at least 20 hours before adding food to your freezer. If needed, you can remove the drawers and shelves to fit more items.
