Change the virtual reality background on the Galaxy XR

Customize your Galaxy XR experience by changing the virtual reality background. This guide explains how to access settings using the Top button or hand gestures, navigate to the Home environment, and apply your desired background. Follow these steps to personalize your immersive experience.

Change the virtual reality background on the Galaxy XR

Open the Launcher.

Press the Top button once shortly to open the launcher. Or use a hand gesture: Extend your hand with your palm facing the device until a menu appears, then pinch your thumb and index finger together.

Access Settings.

Navigate to Settings in the launcher.

Go to the Home environment.

Select Home environment from the Settings menu.

Select the desired background.

Tap Go to Settings, and then choose your preferred background from the available options.

Apply the background.

Tap Apply to set the selected background as your new virtual reality environment.
