Use Advanced Professional Video (APV) on Galaxy S26 Ultra

Enable and use APV

  1. Open the Camera App: Tap on the VIDEO mode to start.
  2. Access Quick Controls: Tap the four dots to open Quick controls.
  3. Enter Settings: Tap the Settings icon.
  4. Select Video Format: Tap on Video format.
  5. Enable APV: Tap APV and switch it on.
  6. Choose Format and Profile: Select your desired APV format and profile.
    Note: To capture Log videos, set the Log option to Video and Pro video modes.
  7. Return to Camera: Tap the Navigate up icon three times to return to the Camera interface.
  8. Enable APV Recording: Tap the APV icon at the top to activate APV recording.
  9. Start Recording: Tap the Record button to begin recording a video using the APV codec.
     

This setup allows you to capture professional-quality videos with Advanced Professional Video features on your Galaxy S26.
