Q1. What is Samsung Care+?
A1. With Samsung Care+, you get more than just protection against the unexpected for your new eligible Samsung purchase. A team of Pros will help you get started with your new product, show you how to get the most out of its advanced features and answer all of your questions.
 
Q2. How do I enroll in Samsung Care+?
A2. You can enroll in Samsung Care+ on Samsung.com with the purchase of an eligible home appliance, television, or electronic device. At checkout, you will be offered the option to add Samsung Care+ to your cart.
 
Q3. Am I automatically enrolled in Samsung Care+?
A3. No, you are not automatically enrolled in Samsung Care+. You must enroll in Samsung Care+ when purchasing your eligible Samsung product on Samsung.com.
 
Q4. What is the cost of Samsung Care+?
A4. The cost of Samsung Care+ varies by product category and term. Please add the product to your cart to see your Samsung Care+ options and cost.
 
Q5. What is the length of coverage?
A5. Samsung Care+ offers two (2) year or four (4) year plans on eligible Home Appliances, one (1) year or three (3) year plans on eligible Televisions and two (2) year or three (3) year plans on eligible electronic devices through Samsung.com
 
Q6. When does coverage begin?
A6. Samsung Care+ starts from the date of purchase of your product. The service plan excludes coverage for any loss covered by the manufacturer's warranty, but it may provide benefits in addition to those provided by the manufacturer's warranty.
 
Q7. After I enroll my product in Samsung Care+, when should I expect to receive my Terms and Conditions?
A7. You'll receive a welcome email within 24 hours of purchase. Within this email you'll find your coverage documents, including your state specific terms and conditions.
 
Q8. I don’t live in one of the 50 United States. Can I still purchase Samsung Care+?
A8. No. Samsung Care+ is currently only available to customers who live in the continental United States, Hawaii, Alaska, and Washington D.C.
 
Q9. Can I cancel Samsung Care+?
A9. Yes. You can cancel Samsung Care+ at MyCarePlusClaim.com at any time. Go to Manage Plans and select the cancel coverage option. If you're returning a Samsung product, we'll cancel your plan as part of the return process.
 
Q10. What is covered?
A10. While benefits and service options vary by product, Samsung Care+ protection plans offer coverage above and beyond the manufacturer's warranty, including power surge protection and reimbursement benefits.
 
Q11. Do I have to pay a deductible when I file a claim for a malfunctioning product?
A11. Samsung Care+ protection plans don't have any deductibles or hidden fees, so you won't have to pay a deductible for an approved claim.
 
Q12. Does this plan replace my Samsung manufacturer’s warranty?
A12. No. This plan enhances the coverage already provided by Samsung. Samsung Care+ includes additional coverage and perks that not only start from the date of purchase, but also extend well beyond when the manufacturers' warranties end. 
 
Q13. How do I file a claim for my Samsung device?
A13. Go to MyCarePlusClaim.com and enter your phone number or email address associated with your plan. Then click "File a Claim" for the product you want to file a claim for.
 
Q14. Is there a wait period before I can file a claim?
A14. If you purchased Samsung Care+ when you purchased your new Samsung product, your coverage will begin immediately and there is no wait period.
 
Q15. Is there a limit to the number of claims I can make?
A15. The total amount we will pay for all claims made on your product will not exceed the purchase amount paid for the product. If we can’t repair your product and it’s replaced or a cash settlement or gift card is issued, then your contract will be fulfilled and you will need to purchase Samsung Care+ on your new replacement product.
 
Q16. What is not covered under Samsung Care+?
A16. Any loss as a result of: abuse, negligence pre-existing conditions, rust, corrosion, theft, flood, wind, freezing and unusual atmospheric conditions, and any loss covered under a manufacturer's warranty. Please refer to your program Terms and Conditions for a complete list of exclusions.  
 
Q17. Who is the administrator of the plan?
A17. In all states, the Administrator is Federal Warranty Service Corporation, except in Florida where the Administrator is United Service Protection Inc., and in Oklahoma where the Administrator is Assurant Service Protection, Inc.
