Samsung washer door is locked

Samsung washer door is locked
Verify Child Lock is not engaged.
Verify the wash cycle is complete.
Make sure the timer has expired and the water has fully drained. If you need to cancel the cycle, touch Start/Pause (Hold to Start). There are a few things to keep in mind when a cycle has completed.
- It may take a few moments for the door lock mechanism to disengage.
- Make sure the door lock light is off. This light turns off after the washer has drained.
- If the washer is paused after the water is supplied, the door cannot be opened until one minute has passed.
If the washer is off, turn it on and wait until the door unlocks.
For front load models, drain the emergency hose.
Front load models will lock the door while water is detected inside the washer to prevent it from spilling onto your floor. The emergency drain hose is located by the pump filter (also called a debris filter). Some older front load models do not have a pump filter or an emergency drain hose.
The steps for draining the emergency drain hose can be found in our guide on cleaning the pump filter.
When the emergency drain hose no longer has any water coming out, turn the washer off and back on again. This time the door should unlock.
