Bixby voice commands aren't working

If Bixby is not responding when you say “Hi, Bixby,” there are a few things you can do to improve the voice command accuracy. You can try removing your voice recording, adding a new voice recording, and then changing the sensitivity setting. This way, Bixby will always be able to hear your voice.

Bixby voice commands aren't working

1

Navigate to Bixby Settings.

Navigate to and open Bixby, tap the settings icon in the upper right corner. (It looks like a gear.)
2

Turn on Voice wake-up.

Tap Voice registration, and then tap the wake-up word at the top that you want to use. This will turn on Voice wake-up.

Important: Test the voice commands now. If they still do not work, continue with the steps below.

3

Remove your previous voice recordings.

From Bixby settings, tap Delete all voice recordings, and then tap Delete.
Note: This option will only appear if you've previously recorded your voice with Bixby.
4

Register a new voice recording.

You can now register another voice recording by tapping Voice registration. Tap Next and follow the on-screen prompts to record your voice again.
5

Change the Wake-up sensitivity.

When you're finished recording, tap Wake-up sensitivity to change the setting to High.
6

Test your voice command.

Try speaking to Bixby by saying "Hi, Bixby." If this still doesn't work, proceed to the next step.
7

Reset Bixby.

If the issue persists, you can try resetting Bixby.
