Galaxy XR: Headset will not power on

Galaxy XR: Headset will not power on
Inspect the headset, battery pack, cables, and charger.
Verify that the Galaxy XR headset, battery pack, cables, and wall adapter have no physical or liquid damage. Any damage could prevent proper charging.

- Check for a cracked or lifted case, and broken, bent, or loose parts on the headset, battery pack, power cable, or charger. If you notice obvious damage, cracks, or small chips, it indicates the components have suffered from external impact, which may impair their functionality.

- Check for any visible damage, such as fraying or wear on the power cable, charging cable, and the connector on the side of the headset.

- Inspect the USB connections for corrosion, bent pins, or debris that may hinder proper charging.

- The Galaxy XR headset and its components are not impervious to water damage in any situation. Exposure to water, liquids, or chemicals can cause damage or issues with the headset and its accessories.

If the Galaxy XR headset, battery pack, or power cable has gotten wet or is damaged, visit our Support Center to request service. For issues with the charging cable or wall adapter, such as damage or exposure to water, you can purchase a new one directly from Samsung.com.
Check the indicator light on the battery pack.
Over time, an unused battery will discharge and must be recharged before use. Press the Battery level button on the battery pack to check the remaining battery level. Ensure the LED lights turn on to confirm the battery is functional.

- Red: Charging or low battery.
- Green: Fully charged.
- Flashing Red: Charging disabled or reduced battery.
- No light: Not charging or depleted battery.
Charge the battery pack.
Plug one end of the USB-C cable into the battery pack and the other end into the wall charger. Connect the wall charger to a power source. The indicator light will show the charging status. If the indicator light flashes, disconnect and reconnect the cable. Ensure it's properly connected to both the battery pack and the wall charger.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the battery pack from the charger and unplug the charger from the wall outlet.
- If the battery pack does not show any signs of charging, visit our Support Center to request service.
Power the headset.
To charge the headset while using it, keep the wall charger connected to the battery pack while plugged into a wall outlet.
Put on the headset.
Remove the protective cover from the headset, and then place the headset on your forehead. Make sure the headset does not rest on your nose or cheekbones. Next, adjust the headset until the center of the screen is clear, then adjust the fit dial to secure the device firmly on your head. The headset will automatically turn on; if it doesn't, press and hold the Top button to turn it on.

- If your headset did turn on, the battery was completely depleted.
- If the headset does not turn on, continue to the next step.
