What to do if your Galaxy Watch battery is draining fast
There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. Following a few simple steps can help you identify the cause and extend your watch's battery life.
Sometimes apps may have a bug that causes them to use excessive battery, make sure all your apps are up to date for the best performance.
Some apps on your Watch continue running out of sight in the background, even when you are not actively viewing them, which can consume battery power. Clearing unnecessary accumulated data and closing background apps you are not using can help your battery last much longer.
Note: Make sure to back up any data you want to keep before deleting it.

Continuously searching for nearby Wi-Fi signals or trying to connect to a network with a weak signal can consume a significant amount of battery power. Turning off Wi-Fi or other network connections when you do not need them can help reduce battery consumption.
* Keep in mind that you may not be able to use certain apps and features that require a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Mobile network connection.
Note:
- Your watch will disconnect from your phone when Bluetooth is turned off.
- If remote connection is turned on in the Wearable app and Wi-Fi is turned off, your watch and phone will not remotely connect via Wi-Fi when Bluetooth is turned off.
- If you turn off mobile networks on an LTE or 3G watch, your watch will disconnect from your carrier's network service (your service subscription will not be affected).
The Always On Display feature is convenient because it keeps the clock visible at all times, but keeping the display on continuously uses battery power. Turning off this feature so the screen only turns on when needed can significantly extend battery life.
Whenever a new notification arrives, your watch performs several tasks, such as turning on the screen, vibrating, and exchanging wireless data with your phone. Adjusting your notification settings can prevent your watch from waking unnecessarily and help conserve battery power.
Turning on power saving mode automatically reduces screen brightness, limits certain background functions and wireless connections, and minimises the use of features such as Raise wrist to wake. This helps keep your watch running for as long as possible with the remaining battery power.
* When power saving mode is turned on, your watch's Home screen will be displayed in grayscale and all functions will be turned off, except calls, messages, and notifications that use Bluetooth. Wi-Fi and mobile data will also be turned off, and performance will be limited.
Exposing your watch to very cold or very hot temperatures can shorten the watch's battery life and could lead to damage.
