The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

                  Overall device is great, crease almost feels nothing. No matter opening or closing the main screen, it feels smooth and solid. Use device 3 days, open more than hundred times of main screen, it feels no change for the operation. I am pretty sure I can use this phone for few years no problems. Main screen brightness 🔆 is great even under direct sunshine. I used device for 3 days, only charge one time i am so confident that I can use the phone full day with high usage.

I am not tech savvy but always wanted a better phone and from Samsung A12 to Fold 8 is a huge improvement finally. Battery seems to be depleting rather quickly for a new phone but might be my usage since I am in love with it It is quite responsive and quick to load sites and videos. As for durability and the hinges and the fold of the screen remain to be seen..

The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid.                   I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 for a few days, and I’m genuinely impressed. The new design is noticeably thinner and lighter, making it incredibly comfortable to carry. The larger FlexWindow is much more useful now—I can reply to messages, check notifications, and use apps without opening the phone. Performance is fast and smooth, the camera takes excellent photos, and the battery easily lasts a full day with regular use. The hinge feels solid, and the overall build quality is premium. If you’re looking for a stylish, compact flagship with great AI features, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Introduction: I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Fold 8 for 2 weeks now and I have enjoyed every day of using it. Here are my thoughts on the phone. Positives: The short wide form factor display is compact, durable protected against dirt and debris and well built quality with a responsive screen for viewing more content and multitask with a nice 50/50 split with 3 applications. The applications open quickly with no lagging and watching videos on the 7.6 inch screen is fantastic. I found that the battery lasted typically a day and half with maximum protection enabled. Using it for productivity was great with the built-in scanner and AI tools. In particular, the Good luck application offered plugins to customize the fold 8 to for optimum performance and productivity. Negatives: I noticed that the phone snaps fully open or shuts instead of holding at around 50% angles because the hinge lacks the resistance needed to prop the phone open like a mini-laptop. In addition, flex mode panel settings are missing. The phone is slightly too wide for my small hands however I was able to use the Good luck application and the gestures to enable easy reachability on the front screen. In the next update of the phone I suggest that Samsung reduces the bezels and thickness of the phone. Conclusions: The Galaxy fold 8 new form factor is a well built phone with a video-friendly display with excellent battery life, quick performance, and helpful AI features. This is now my main and only phone at least until the next upgrade in 2027.

And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

                  Been loving my Galaxy Flip since the first edition and upgrading it every year. Didn't expect to say this but after experiencing the Fold8 hands-on, it seems it's time to switch it up. Much slimmer and lighter than I expected, sitting super well in one hand. The real magic was unfolding it (unexpectedly I do appreciate that extra screen space) which made my little scroll through my favourite dog content so much better. Always loved how the Flex Mode on my Flip made every selfie session with my niece and dog so much more fun (and stable) by using the main camera and outside screen and now with the Fold8 camera... chef's kiss :)

                  Battery life is something I was worried about when I qas about to buy fold 8, but oh man, I got 10 hours of SOT with 90% battery usage, which is something that I never got from my S25 Ultra. And the brightness of the inner screen is soo good, the bad part about that is also the good part, which is that we can't apply screen protectors to the internal screen, which is better in a way, as naked screens are much better to look at and brighter. Just need to be careful, thats all. Hinge is okay at the moment, no real issues. Need to drive more time to see any problems, hopefully not. No problems with reaponsiveness so far, its quick as bullet. The durability is not concerning at all. The phone feels sturdy and confident to use with one hand. Just lacked telephoto. Rest everything's so good so far. Imax movies are sweet to watch. I almost stopped using my tablet to watch movies. Overall, waited 8 years to buy a perfect fold for me. 🙂🤟💯

But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

New form factory takes some getting used to but now when I look at a slab phone, it feels unnatural. New silicon carbon battery is a great upgrade, with all day battery life. Displays are sharp with more than enough brightness. Feels durable in the hand but would definitely recommend a front and back case of some sort. The new hinge feels sturdy and forces itself open after a certain point. The new chip make the phone extremely responsive and handles any tasks with ease. If you're tempted, just get one, you'll only regret not getting it sooner!

With the ultra the screen is too narrow and i feel i need to open it more than i should. The crease is barely visible at the moment which is great. Not sure how this will be over time. Battery life is good last me the day. The hinge is very keen not sure im confortable with the forceful opening. Its alot lighter than my previous phone so durability is yet to be determined. But with this being so light im worried for how it would stand up to being dropped. With the 1tb 16gb it feel rapid when it comes to responsiveness.

They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

Upon opening, the hinge feels like its durability will last the distance. Once set up, which is a breeze, both screens are extremely responsive. The longevity of the battery is looking excellent. I have had Samsung phones for many years, but this is most definitely my favorite. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.
