    Hi, Please backup your phone using Samsung KIES. Perform a factory reset by pressing Menu > settings > Accounts > Backup and reset > Factory data reset . When this is completed please connect your phone to Samsung KIES and restore your phone. Thanks.

    I receive a message which says Memory Full. Ive deleted SMS history and e-mail history and have Free memory on my applications. On the top left of the screen is the clock symbol, but I couldnt find the significance of this in the user manual.

    Hi Apache, please check out this link to download Kies http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/. You should also make sure USB debugging is ticked on your phone by going to Settings > Applications > Departments > USB Debugging. Hope this helps.

    I have rebooted my GT-S5830i and tried to restore it with Kies but it keeps on crashing because it wants to finish off a back-up that failed. Can I stop this auto back-up from attempting each time I reconnect the phone?

    Hi. The automatic back up option can be disabled by following these steps: Open Samsung KIES > Select Basic Information > Scroll down to Options > deselect the box next to Automatic back up when USB connection is established.     I can delete text messages but unable to delete any emails. I keep getting icon telling me no space on phone, so deleted lots of texts . When I go to emails I select the messages in the in box or the trash to delete, it tells me it has deleted them, finish with phone then when I go to use phone later my messages that I deleted are there again!!!

    Hi Chrissy, Have you got the latest software? You can check this by; Selecting apps> Sliding the screen to the right> Press settings> About phone. Your software version should be 2.2 (Froyo). If this does not work try reseting your by; Selecting apps> Slide screen to the left> Settings> Privacy> Factory data reset> Reset phone> Erase everything. Hope this helps.
