Why did S24 Ultra screen type change from edge to flat screen?

The Ultra's protruding design, which has been carried over from the Note series, offers several benefits:

• Despite its large size, it ensures a secure grip by curving on both sides.
• Despite its thickness, its curved lines create a sleek appearance.
• It offers an advantage in pen storage.

However, with the Ultra model, the focus is on productivity, particularly with our own S-Pen usage. Users have provided feedback to improve pen usability. As a result, starting from the S23 Ultra, we've been working on flattening the curved surface to enhance pen usability. Especially for the S24 Ultra, we've implemented a completely flat display to improve pen usability while retaining the design strengths mentioned earlier through the protruding design. Additionally, for the first time, even bezels are applied to the Ultra model, further enhancing the clean impression from the front design.
