Comprei um monitor G5 Odyssey 34" com garantia de 1 ano. Passou 10 dias da garantia e caiu o (ÚNICO) botão seletor/configuração e não tem suporte técnico aqui na região onde eu moro (Pato Branco - PR) que faça a troca. O monitor se tornou inútil pois está em uma configuração inutilizável. Lamentável.

after months of research into monitors i decided to hold out until the release of the g5 and couldn't be happier. mostly used for gaming on a pc with ryzen 5 3600 and rtx2060 super, the picture quality is perfect, the 144 hz panel is noticeably better than my old 75 hz display. in fast paced games its so smooth i can honestly say its made games more enjoyable. i was nervous about the severity of the curve but again this was a pleasant surprise, not only does it allow it to fit better on my small desk, for a monitor of this size it really helps take in the whole screen.

Venho por meio desta expressar minha insatisfação e preocupação com um problema encontrado no produto que adquiri de sua marca, o monitor Samsung G5 Odyssey. Este é reconhecido como um dos melhores monitores da linha, e minha decisão de compra foi influenciada pelo marketing de qualidade e inovação da Samsung. Infelizmente, minha experiência não correspondeu às expectativas. Em poucos dias de uso, o monitor começou a apresentar um problema grave: a tela piscava intermitentemente. Este problema não só compromete a funcionalidade e usabilidade do produto, mas, com o passar de apenas duas semanas, piorou a ponto de tornar o uso do monitor impraticável. Além do incômodo e da interrupção da minha produtividade, estou extremamente preocupado com a possibilidade de esse problema estar prejudicando a minha visão. A exposição prolongada a uma tela piscando pode causar desconforto ocular significativo, dores de cabeça e outros problemas de saúde visual, o que aumenta minha urgência em buscar uma solução. Considero que este problema caracterize um defeito oculto, algo que não era aparente no momento da compra, mas que compromete seriamente a qualidade e a usabilidade do produto, além de representar um risco potencial à minha saúde. Diante do exposto, solicito um posicionamento urgente da Samsung para a resolução deste problema. Pros: + Resolution + Picture Quality + Refresh rate +/- Possibly the price Cons: - Huge amount of backlighting - Ergonomics (very uncomfortable stand) - No backlighting - Questionable design - Pseudo HDR In general, the monitor would not be bad, if not for the huge amount of backlighting. Dark scenes are impossible to watch even at medium brightness, everything is in white spots. Highlights are visible even in medium-lighted scenes. That's the only reason for the 1* rating. I think you can find a better monitor for this money.

i have sensitive eyes and have been using the product for two months. - eye saver mode doesn't work. it's very annoying as they don't have levels - i can't dim the light enough. brightness=0, still too bright even when contrast=0 - on my other brand monitor, the blue light filter can be adjusted gradually. and when i change the brightness setting i can get a really dark image. - the black level setting in the menu cannot be activated. - i should be able to adjust brightness and contrast when dynamic contrast is selected firmware is up to date 1.006 please help

O produto não foi barato. Infelizmente o controle pelo joystick é péssimo, o botão é extremamente frágil e impreciso. O certo seria ou habilitar o uso de controle remoto, mesmo que comprado a parte, ou usar um controle com botões separados e não unificados em uma peça tão pequena, fragilíssima e e de dificil controle. Infelizmente não posso consertar o monitor pois no momento estou desempregado, mas assim que possivel trocarei o monitor.

Ao utilizar a frequência de 165mhz, o monitor apresenta flickering. Vi que em outros modelos (o G5 não ultrawide, de 32") e G7 aparentemente já tem atualização que corrige o problema, mas o 34" não. Estou aguardando para poder usar todo o potencial do monitor. A frequência foi um dos principais fatores da minha compra. Ah, devo dizer também que, quando acesso o site, na parte de downloads para baixar o firmware do modelo, é feito o download de um firmware do G5 não ultrawide, ou seja, o site fez upload de um arquivo incompatível com o modelo. Sobre o suporte não preciso nem dizer, que é uma crítica geral. Não à toa, hoje, deve chegar o suporte novo que comprei, mas bem que a Samsung podia ter caprichado mais. Fico aguardando sobre o Firmware, já que o flickering me chateou bastante...

É um monitor relativamente caro, e possui uma construção péssima, em duas unidades que passou em minhas mãos o joystick do menu parou de funcionar mesmo sendo um botão de pouquissimo uso. Fora isso, possui altos niveis de flickering ao utilizar DIsplayPort, o que praticamente impossibilita o uso em 165hz. Unica maneira que encontrei para contornar isso foi o uso em HDMI, que limta a 100hz. Não veria problema nisso se não fosse vendido por 165hz. Claramente é um produto mal projetado.

Após um ano de uso a tela simplesmente começou a descolar. A parte central começou a soltar da moldura do monitor. Pesquisando na internet, vi que é um defeito bem comum na série odyssey (gostaria de ter feito isso antes….) Enfim, meu conselho é: NÃO COMPRE. Além de todas as reclamações dessas outras reviews, você ainda corre o risco de perder o monitor por um defeito que aparentemente é de fábrica e se manifesta com relativamente pouco tempo de uso.

ótimo monitor, com 1000R de curvatura que permite uma excelente imersão. Mas o meu com menos de 1 mês de uso apresenta defeito no mini stick usado para acessar as configurações. Tem hora que o botão não funciona! Não permitindo acessar as configuracoes do monitor e o que é pior: se ele desligar por inatividade aí por causa do defeito no stick, ele demora muito para ligar, tenho que ficar pressionando o stick várias vezes. Falta também ser gsync compatível. Vou acionar a garantia da Samsung para correção deste problema.

Alguns padrões visuais na tela fazem com que a imagem apresente alguma corrupção horizontal. A minha unidade tb tem um problema de flickering na DP quando usado acima de 100Hz na res nativa. Algumas outras pessoas tem problema semelhante. Em modo FreeSync/GSync-compatible tem problemas de flicker de brilho. O monitor só tem 1 entrada HDMI e 1 DisplayPort, extremamente pouco. O stand não tem ajuste de altura.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set up was really easy. The stand isn't the sturdiest, but it gets the job done. I got this monitor purely for work and productivity, and im shocked at how well it performs! The display is huge, has crisp visuals, and plenty of menu options to dial in the monitor to suit your preferences. Definitely an upgrade from a dual monitor setup. One issue i had with the monitor however, was adjusting the tilt. It takes some decent force to get it to move and if you hold it the wrong way, you can damage it - be aware. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to using it moving forward.

Meu monitor chegou 14/07/22, animado instalei o monitor, minha primeira decepção foi tentar colocar ele em 165hz, na resolução 3440x1440 só funcionou em 100hz, minha segunda decepção, o Windows não reconheceu o certificado HDR, minha terceira decepção, o monitor apresentou muito flickering, quarta decepção, o suporte da Samsung foi horrível. Resolvi devolver o produto e Samsung nunca mais.

O produto apresenta problemas sérios de distorção de imagem ao ativar o freesync. Depois de 80 dias na autorizada Samsung eles simplesmente disseram não haver o que fazer e ofereceram me devolver o dinheiro.

I like how bright the monitor especially as someone who sits with the window facing my monitor. From gaming to typing documents to watch movies, I have thoroughly enjoyed the monitor. I have not had any major issues this far. Connectivity has been on point. My one complaint is that the monitor seems to be leaning forward on its own stand. Would probably recommend using a monitor arm for better positioning.

Pontos POSITIVOS: - Sem black light bleeding quando olhando direto para a tela (que é o modo de uso correto de um painel VA). - Ao se utilizar uma imagem totalmente preta em fullscreen é impossível distinguir se o monitor está ligado ou não. - Níveis de preto incríveis, comparáveis até com uma tela OLED eu diria. - Entrega os 165 Hz. - Design bonito. - Curvatura extremamente confortável para se jogar. - Aumenta consideravelmente o campo de visão em jogos que suportam 21:9 (gera maior imersão) Pontos NEGATIVOS: - E vendido como 1ms de resposta, mas na realidade os tempos de resposta BEEM mais altos quando se considerando transição entre cores distantes no espectro de cores. Eu sei que isso é normal para um painel VA, MAS neste monitor o tempo é exageradamente grande. - Tem um sério problema semelhante à um shutter drag effect quando o fundo da imagem é escuro e existe algum elemento mais claro ou iluminado à frente, no meu caso foi testando tanto em COD Warzone e Sea of Thieves. O teste que mais surpreendeu foi no Sea of Thieves (motion blur do jogo desligado) onde estava de noite e havia uma bandeira azul em um poste, ao mover a câmera era gerado um rastro de fading gigantesco que ao jogar gerou alto nível de incômodo. - Ao ligar G-sync e transitar de um ambiente mais claro para escuro ou olhar para uma fonte de luz, é gerado nível assustador de flickering (não é atoa que a NVIDIA não aprovou este monitor como Gsync compatible - pode ser ajustado no futuro por atualização de software) - Infelizmente este monitor, ao meu ver, não entrega o que é necessário para ser utilizado em alta perfomance Hardware: Ryzen 5800x, 32Gb Mem DDR4 e GeForce RTX 3070 Softwares: Sea of Thieves (MS), Cod Warzone (Activision), Nvidia Pendulum, Ufo test.

For gaming, the 144 Hz, Freesync experience is second to none when paired with my mainstream AMD gaming computer. One wish, however, is having the monitor become undetected on the one input when set to the other. For example, when one monitor's set to HDMI for my work computer and two others are set to my gaming computer over DisplayPort, Windows on my gaming computer still detects three usable monitors. All in all, I enjoy my 27” G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitors.

Para eliminar o flickering .... Basta ativar o G-SYNC ... E deixar o tempo de resposta do monitor em modo normal. Se for usar com o tempo de resposta no máximo ... recomendo desativar o G-SYNG pq. vai dar flickering.

As portas ficam dentro de um encaixe minúsculo. Cabo displayport fornecido pela própria Samsung não encaixa de maneira anatômica, o cabo fica forçando e após 5 dias de uso a imagem começou a apresentar problemas. Não tem regulagem de altura, fiquei bem triste com a compra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G5 line has great looking panels for the price, and while the response times aren't as good as some other kinds of gaming monitors, any issues are completely unnoticeable unless you're looking for them. I will say, I have both the 27 and 34 inch G5 monitors, and the height of the frames is off by about a quarter of an inch from each other, and performance of the panels is not really on the same level. This was a bit disappointing, as I wanted to have an exact match next to each other, but the blacks are much lighter on the 27. Other than that, both of them have been fantastic, and are definitely worth it for the price.

I have two of these side by side and the games look super smooth thanks to the fast refresh rate. It feels like you’re actually in the game with how curved and wide the screen is. Em menos de 30 dias de uso começou a apresentar faixas horizontais ao retornar do standby. Uso 2 monitores e isso so aconteceu no G5. Troquei o cabo displayport, tentei outras frequências. Foram 15 dias de uso em uma rtx3060 e outros 10 dias em uma rtx4070TI S, em ambas gpus o defeito foi o mesmo. Fiz o pedido de devolução a Amazon pois não acho viável ficar com um monitor que deu manutenção com menos de 30 dias de uso.

I work from home and spend 8 to 12 hours a day in front of this monitor. Its very stable, clear and bright and super easy on the eyes. Awhile ago, we had family in for a week and I wasn't able to get much play station time, so I moved it from my family room TV to this monitor. What a difference. My visitors are long gone, but my play station is still connected to my Samsung gaming monitor and I don't expect I'll move it back anytime soon. I would highly recommend this monitor to anyone.

The image is so clear and smooth and the colors are so vibrant and are easily changed if needed. The one problem I've had is a bit of flickering but that's only happened if it's been on all day and fixes just by shutting the monitor off for a little. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its perfect for gaming honestly, great resolution, don't have to fight with background light glare and the menu for the settings isn't so bad to manage around your preferences to optimize brightness and cotrast, my games hit the right amount of hz and the right amount of sharp text clarity. When transitioning to my laptop which would be my primary screen and the monitor being my second screen is such a smooth experience with no delay and delivers a great view with my day to day work. i recently procured a new gaming pc with a rtx 3060 ti. having this new system i wanted to reap the benefits with a most modern of monitor. 1440p, high refresh rate, and hdr would be of utmost importance. with this in mind i set out across the webland exploring the the many wares and perusing the reviews. having the highest regard for samsung i was naturally drawn to their items. having settled on the 27" g5 odyssey as my choice i set at once to the checkout cart with haste. i give this product four stars for cost to performance, but it is deprived one star for the inclusion of an hdmi cable and not dp 1.4

My main rig is connected to my tower with the display port cable and I have a reserve HDMI cable for when the kids bring their laptops to it an use it as a second screen. I STRONGLY urge everybody to give this monitor a closer look.

My wife and I LOVE this around the room. We ended up selling our bedroom TV because we hadnt used it in months. Personal use monitors are the future, but if you have a crowd then you might want a TV.

The 1000R curve is incredibly immersive; it really pulls you into games and makes everything feel more engaging. The Ultra WQHD resolution is super sharp, giving me a fantastic wide view, which is perfect for seeing more of the battlefield. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make gameplay incredibly smooth and fluid, with no tearing thanks to FreeSync Premium. While the HDR isn't top-tier, the contrast on this VA panel is really good, making blacks look deep and rich. It's truly a good Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor at work. I consistently have multiple screens open and the Win11 multi-split windows options work amazingly well. The screen real estate is perfect for having three separate apps or windows open at once, so comparing data across spreadsheets, and transcribing from different sources for training development and planning is a breeze. With videoconferencing it's also extremely useful to have the video app, slide deck, and chat windows readily available. I pair it with a ultra wide flat monitor in portrait view which I use for long documents and websites. This combo is fed from my laptop which I keep the lid closed since my Odyssey gives me all the screen I need. This monitor effectively replaces two, or three individual monitors! I'm ok with it not having speakers since my other monitor does, but I do sometimes wish I could rotate it to portrait, but not often enough to care.

For work, the large 34-inch curved screen is a huge plus. I can have multiple spreadsheets, documents, and web pages open at the same time, which has greatly improved my productivity. The monitor's high resolution and accurate colors also make it great for tasks like photo editing and video conferencing. But what really surprised me was how great it is for watching videos. The curved screen immerses you in the action, and the high refresh rate makes for smooth motion. I've watched everything from movies to sports on this monitor, and it's always been a great experience. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ultrawide 34” had well documented flickering issues, none of which were able to be solved due to non-existent firmware updates. My original monitor also came with a pixel smudge/dead pixels. Thankfully, Samsung’s warranty process worked fairly seamlessly and they were able to replace the screen/monitor under warranty. The replacement monitor was perfectly fine, no dead pixels and no flickering. The older monitor and new one did have two different sized/wattage power bricks, a bit odd considering they were the same model. I love Samsung products so this doesn’t deter me from purchasing more TV’s and monitors from them in the future. But I’m certainly opting for OLED, even a smaller one if I want a monitor that isn’t ultrawide. Hope they come out with a 4K/5K ultrawide in the future, paying so much for an ultrawide 1440p just isn’t worth it these days, I’d rather get the 40” 4K IPS from LG for the same price range.

It is a nice monitor, but has an engineering defect. After about 7 month of usage the screen is getting of the frame. This is a commune issue and the customer support is dogging the fact that Samsung has a manufacture defect. You can search online and see that there are thousands of customers with exact same issue in exact same spot. Don't buy it.

Monitor is really great, curved design is really good for your eyes, colors are not oversaturated and overall experience in gaming and video-editing is better than I expected from VA panel. There is only one thing that bothers me, official specifications states that monitor supports DisplayPort 1.4, except it doesn't. I tried three different DP cables, I even checked if my GPU supports it, everything should be fine but menu in monitor doesn't show support for DP 1.4 and since there is no firmware update for this issue yet I hope that it will be fixed soon, beside that everything works.

I purchased this monitor when it first came out, and within a week of using it, the screen would constantly flicker. Send it in for repair, months later my replacement arrived. No issues with the replacement/repaired model until 11 months later, the flickering is back. It is only present when using displayport and 165hz, tested with multiple cables/video cards. HDMI is fine, its a shame really that I can't get the full performance out of the monitor. However, it is a beautiful display, the curve is fantastic and I wouldn't go back to a normal monitor, ultrawide curved for life.

well the screen was good no ghosting or anything but when its dark the colors be terrible and that thing really annoyed, and the colors was really washed up. i took the screen all the way to dubai and they checked it we found out that this is normal so… the screen is not a good option to buy

It's the perfect size, especially with the curved screen, to allow me to see everything I need to at any given time without needing to shift things around. I don't know enough about the specs and technical aspects to talk about them, but the monitor is very stable (it doesn't move at all unless I choose to move it), it's very easy to read, even if the font size is relatively small or I have the view at 150%, it's never glitchy, it doesn't give off any heat that I've noticed, and the quality is 10/10 in features, performance, design - and about a 17/10 in value. I can't praise this monitor highly enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely like and recommend this monitor, this was my jump from 720p and 1080p screens into 1440p. Suddenly everything looked so manageable because of the different resolution. My eyes dont get as tired while using this monitor because of curvature it has, which was a strong point for me to buy it since i happen to be a lot of time of front of screens. Im a gamer and the colors in this monitor are so vibrant and the refresh rate its so high its perfect. I notice no lagg at all in fast paced moments at games like WoW, LoL and some others. I dont like it only having 1 display port and 1 hdmi port but for me it has not been a problem at all since i only use 1 screen for my current set up. 3 of 4 edges are pretty small and it really gives the borderless sensation. Settings are customizable for many likings, and they can give you serious differences on screen as when you move the sliders for black equalizer, temperature of color, etc. For mid range price point and 1440p gaming Hz low ms response, this is a safe enjoyable option to go for.

Just got the monitor, not bad so far. Huge detail they chose not to tell you on the box is that the 165hz is only for the display port not HDMI. The HDMI only gets 100hz. Wish they'd add that detail onto the box, very misleading.
