Bought this wifi dongle, which was easy to install after reading the manual, however, the instructions in the App are not very good. The functions work well, but why can the temperature not be set via the app?

Helt värdelös funktion. Visar inte ens aktuell temperatur men kan sätta på snabbinfrysning via appen vad det nu ska tjäna till. Otroligt dyr pryl till ingen som helst nytta. KÖP INTE!!!!

I got this for my washing machine so that I could have it run during non-peak hours but finish right when I have to wake up, so that I can move it to the dryer and not have it sit wet all night. It is working great for that so far! At first, I was having trouble getting it to connect like other reviewers were mentioning. What helped me was making sure that the door to the washing machine is closed. I usually have it open so that it can air out, but the smart control won't connect unless the door is closed and can be locked (that makes sense now as a safety feature, but it isn't mentioned in the instructions, so I'm guessing that may be where a lot of people are having issues). I also followed the advice from the other review that said "when the app prompts to quickly press the smart control button, hold it down until the machine gets out of the ap mode and then hold the button down again and put the machine in the ap mode again." Hopefully this helps other people who had issues!

Does not show the actual temperature! This must be the most basic basic basic feature. You only get one warning when the software in the new samsung freezer has crashed again, but no information on temperature. Very dissapointed. All game meet and fish is rotten.

Niestety, zakupiłem i okazało się, ze pomimo iż mam lodówkę z serii RS68 - RS68A8820B1 to nie ma ona złącza usb, a w opisie wyraźnie jest napisane, ze współpracuje ze wszystkimi modelami... chyba ktoś zapomniał napisać, ze ze wszystkimi które mają złącze usb.

what a device. i spent 30 minutes swearing like a sailor trying to get my washer connected. (the dryer worked like a charm). after i lost my patience and slammed the washer door closed (we keep it open to prevent mold and mildew), the stupid app connected, the wifi light was blinking and the washer connected to the network. samsung you need to include that little tidbit that your washer and dryer need to be in a pose to start a load before you connect them to the app and network. jeez. this is the modern era, why are we required to buy a dongle to connect our appliances to the network?? honestly.

i bought two products that are on the list of activities with usb pendrive smart adapter (https://www.samsung.com/pl/smartthings/smart-dongle-hd2018gh/hd2018gh/). they both do not work, they cannot be connected to smartthing applications, although in the description for the usb adapter it should work! lists my part numbers for the products. brb260089ww and rz32m75335b1 this is some kind of mockery, i spent money on 2 x usb adapter and none works. my devices are not available in the application, i cannot pair and connect them. help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for those having trouble syncing their machines try this step. when the app prompts to quickly press the smart control button, hold it down until the machine gets out of the ap mode and then hold the button down again and put the machine in the ap mode again. the app should recognize your machines and sync with them. this is a problem with the app that i hope samsung will fix. we are very happy with the adapters.

I bought this even though people said it didn't work very well. I completely disagree. It didn't take anytime to setup and it interfaces seamlessly with my SmartHome. I was even pleasantly surprised when it sent notifications to my Samsung smart TV not just y phone that either the dryer or the washer was completed. If you follow the steps in the manual it works. As for controlling your devices press the SmartConnect for 3 seconds on the dryer or washer to gain full control wait for the light to turn on. BTW the washer locks itsself. If you change settings on the device it switches to monitor only mode. It's a safety feature if you don't do that you can only monitor the devices. It should be included because of the price you pay for the washer or dryer.

Köpte två donglar för att koppla upp min nya kyl och frys. Först var det svårt att få in dem i SmartThings appen. Till slut var allt frid och fröjd, jag såg temperaturen i skåpen och kunde aktivera snabbkylning. Jag åkte hemifrån och kunde fortfarande se temperatur och aktivera snabbkylning. När jag kommer hem får jag meddelandet "Det går inte att ansluta till enheten" på båda. Jag gör om proceduren och lägger in dem igen. Samma fenomen utspelar sig dagen efter. Man måste alltså konfigurera varje dag för att det skall fungera som det är tänkt! Jag är inte imponerad!

Followed the instructions to a T. Hours spent trying to get it to work. It’s bad enough I spent a lot on the washer/dryer and then to spend more on these adapters and having them not work is a pain. not worth the headache.
