[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Q900 soundbar easily connected to our QN65 Samsung TV. I connected it with Bluetooth first & the sound was very good. I then connected them with an eARC HDMI cable & now the sound is exceptional. Voices come through clear, the music is has a very rich sound, and the action sounds come through with realism. I have set up the TV sound to TV + Soundbar (Q-Symphony) & the soundbar to SpaceFit to optimize the sound in our room. The upward firing of two speakers & the out firing end speakers really give this system a great surround sound. The Samsung app makes adjustments very easy. Would recommend this Samsung soundbar to anyone.

Combining the two makes for a new age theatre sound you get when you visit a theatre! My daughter and I are movie watchers. We get a real theatre feel. My son connects his gaming system to the TV and the sound emitted makes the furniture shake. My husband is a sports fanatic and says he can hear background sounds from the game he'd never heard before. Needless to say, we are jockeying everyday for the TV in the living room where the soundbar is connected. Overall great product if you want to experience high quality sound. Awesome job Samsung!

I have been using T.V audio for too long and decided to go with the 900C for nice entry to great audio for the limited space I have in my living room.Once I connected everything it was a drastic change. The subwoofer ties the clear audio so we'll! Additionally I was surprised how easily my none Samsung T.V recognized and used the sound bar. For this price range and knowing the sound experience the customer would want I would expect an eARC HDMI cable however I will have to purchase this separately. I hope to see the ability to purchase the comptable backup speakers to build upon the setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this soundbar to replace a full surround sound receiver/subwoofer/satellite speakers that I had purchased a few years ago. I really like how seamless the soundbar and subwoofer connect to each other. Sound quality seems really good - plenty loud enough for the room. I had some trouble getting the sound bar and TV (Samsung OLED S90C) connecting and it took me forever to figure out how to get Q-symphony to work (I’m not 100% sure it is working now). The Smarthings App is pretty useless - for example, even though both the TV and the Soundbar are in the SmartThings app, there’s no way of setting up Q-Symphony from the app.

It worked great for what we wanted but we just upgraded both our tv and sound bar and while setting everything up it blew me away with how much louder this one is on 20 volume then our other one was set on 40! Great item and we’re breaking it in tonight with a family movie night! It only took me a few years but I finally got the one I wanted and per happy with this purchase! Everything was easy to set up and it connected to our new tv as soon as I plugged the hdmi in. You won’t be sorry for getting this version! 10/10 recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disclaimer —-For review purposes I’ve chosen the Q900 which is closest to outgoing Q90R that I will be reviewing today. With that out of the way Q90R is the best sound bar I’ve heard and I’ve checked out Nakamichi, Bose and Sonos. I can only imagine how good the newer models are. The setup is effortless less. It is literally plug and play. This soundbar is part of my house tour whenever we have guests. Everyone is always in awe. Trust me, this setup will always sound better than anything you will hear in movie theatres. I really appreciate everything being wireless. And that side speakers are included in the package and not something you have to buy separately.

Honestly this system makes sound simple. It was also very easy to connect up to my Google home sound and made a group for music filling the whole house with great sound. The sub in this unit is high quality good low base, awesome mid base, and overall a beautiful rich tone when placed in the right area of the room, typically a corner. The main directional sound coming from the bar is very nice and the surround sound is almost unneeded but adds great quality to background. Overall 9.9 out of 10!

The sound was never right and was always disconnecting. After years of tolerating it we purchased an expensive Sony. Again was not happy at all. 5 years later after my husband complaining every time we turned on the TV I bought him this Samsung soundbar for his birthday. We have always had Samsung phones and very happy with them that I thought why not try the soundbar. I was so happy I did! I don't think I will ever buy anything other than a Samsung going forward. I wish I had thought of them years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having owned thus soundbar for about 6 months, there are some issues potential buyers should be aware of. This soundbar needs to be connected to a recent version of a smart television. An older model doesn't sync well with this soundbar. Another issue is the 'surround sound' feature doesn't work. There's a lag between the television and soundbar sound output. It may be corrected but I haven't been able to get it to sync. Lastly, the sound can sometimes cut out for a couple of seconds. When connected to a late model television, the sound is excellent. You just have to put up with some issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product does the job, it diversifies your audio output coming out the TV so the audio feels very smooth and it feels like the TV is right next to you. It makes the audio very clear and you don't have to turn up the volume too much up to hear clearly your shows. Obviously it's not a power speaker so the audio volume is not very powerful but it works perfect as a TV sound system. It's perfect for watching movies at home, as the sound feels very smooth and fills the room. As the setup, it easily connects to the TV using the HDMI cable, so setup was very easy and done in few minutes. The soundbar comes in with a wall mount but I haven't installed that yet, it's very nice option though.

Cette barre de son a changer mon rapport avec mon téléviseur. On ne peut pas se rendre compte du plus qu'apporte une barre de son si on n'en fait pas l'expérience. Evidemment elle n'est pas donné mais c'est un complément indispensable à un téléviseur haut de gamme

Now for the positive- the size works perfectly for my living room TV/gaming set up. The sound quality was great and I was more than happy with the way the acoustics worked with my open living room. I probably would not use this in a larger area but for our moderately sized living room, it was perfect. Very crisp, clear sound with the volume up or down and we really enjoyed the sound quality with just music coming thru as well.

I would recommend this soundbar to anyone and everyone. This is the soundbar you need. The Dolby Atmos is POPING! The DTS:X beams sounds everywhere in the room. I did however end up setting mine up to be connected to the back of tv instead of putting it on a table as you will see in the photo. But overall the sound quality is great and it enhances the listening experience very well. I couldn’t hardly hear the speakers on just my Samsung tv alone and this soundbar has made all the difference. I would highly recommend this soundbar to anyone. Especially as a starter. I would like to add the satellite speakers soon!

The sound was amazing and the voice clarity spectacular. The included subwoofer is impressive. You feel like you are in a move theater, the sound is really immersive. This is an upgrade from my last samsung soundbar I purchased roughly 5 years ago that. Now technically my old sound bar still works great, but this new Q900c can really shake the windows of your TV room! On top of that setup was easy, plug in a few wires and if you tv has an arc hookup(most modern smart tvs do) the soundbar works off of the same remote as your tv. Packaging is ok but I would like to see it improved as my box got pretty beat up in shipping. The only negative I find with the system is I really wish it came with the rear satellite speakers for a real full surround experience Overall, I find this to be a decent value for the price

Vibrations and chills while Godzilla is running a rampage or bullets whizzing by to actually checking my rooms for something falling only to realize background noise in a movie is deceiving me. Solid material and beautiful to the eye. I connected mine via bluetooth but It also has hdmi connection as well. The sound quality is superb. So crisp and clear. Subwoofer sounds like you're in a movie theater. I never knew what the hype was about with soundbars, but now I understand. I definitely don't see myself going back to not using one in the future. I bought this Sound bar with the rear Dolby Atmos speaker's separately, and recently purchased a Samsung 77 inch OLED S95c TV, and also connected is a Sony 4K UHD Blu-ray player and a PS5. Movie's & the PS5 sound so good and with Q-Sympony and the Dolby Atmos. The AVA is great you hear all the dialogue clearly. With the rear speaker's I'm in my own Home Theater paradise! So if your wondering about getting this soundbar my advice is to get it and also get the rear speaker's you will not be disappointed! Oh and the bass is on point from the subwoofer.

It can really be cranked up to rock the house during movies, or provide just the right levels of sound for something a little chiller. Got the rear speaker hookup as well, and love that the TV, Soundbar, and rear speakers all synchro up automatically for the full QSymphony experience. A little tricky to mount to the TV mount, but once we figured out the right hardware, got that accomplished since wall mounting would have put it behind the TV on our articulating mount. Love it.

I absolutely love the fidelity of the sound. I am in a room with high ceilings and was worried about the up firing atmos sounding good. My expectations were completely exceeded. It sounds wonderful. Anything from Chopin to Pink Floyd... Gangstarr to Ice spice. Action movies sound amazing on this unit as well. Explosion sounds make you feel like your in the action. It was definitely worth the price I paid!

A complete home theater system was not an option so something smaller in size was required. Don't let the small size fool you, it might take a small footprint in your room, but it unleashes rich, room filling sound! The soundbar does an excellent job of expanding the sound stage coming from the TV and does what TV sound cannot. I am very happy with the sound quality and the subwoofer. It makes listening to music or watching a movie quite immersive and plentiful.

Prior to using this product I had wires to my surround speakers running under a carpet which you would still feel with your feet. My major concern for switching to a wireless system was a loss of quality and sync dialogue, none of which resulted to be true. My only slight complaint is that the instructions, and particularly the troubleshooting page of the instructions, could be more extensive. I definitely recommend this product, though.

While that may sound overkill, I realized the power this system provides at lower volumes is still hard to replicate without a powerful system. Amazing effects for action movies and games- reverberating bass and decent treble. Would highly highly recommend for those who want a great system but their budget won’t allow for a Q990C. You can always add the 9500S surround speakers later.

I work in Car Audio and i wasnt necessary disappointed with that kit but i knew it could be better. So i looked into the better TV and sound system and the Q Symphony caught my attention. I purchased a QN65QN85B and then shortly after i purchased the HW-Q930B, and was instantly surprised by the massive improvement. The rear speakers with this kit was the first and most obvious improvement! The clarity and volume of them is phenomenal! The bigger subwoofer is also alot better, hits much deeper notes and still sound smooth doing so. The Q sound bar is also alot bigger and has alot more volume. All-in-all, a great upgrade that is definitely worth the price increase!

The Atmos,DTX, surrounding effects are very good considering there are no true surrounding or ceiling speakers. The surrounding effect is be better with the addition of optional surrounding speakers. It has EARC connection. The subwoofer produces plenty of bass. I wish the status display is in the front of the speaker instead of on the top.

I use it to stream sports, tv episodes and movies, and listen to a lot of music. I haven't explored all the settings yet but it sounds great out of the box. My living room, dining room and kitchen is open concept, so it's tough for a soundbar to fill all that open space. But this bar does a pretty good job. I probably will add atmos surround rear speakers in the future. Q symphony is pretty cool! Overall, 5 stars.

The audio is so crisp and clear. I need to see if there is an adjustment that can be made to make the rear speakers louder. That is my biggest wish for an improvement right now. It might even be possible, I'm not sure. I love syncing it with Smart Things and controlling it with my phone even if I can't find the remote. It syncs with all of my other Samsung tech. I do not regret my purchase.

How can those little speakers sound as good as an old school stereo system (some of which I have built)? And the sub woofer - probably only for movie sonic effects. Well, I am a convert. The sound is great. Very natural. In fact I am going to hook up my CD player up to it using the optical input. Since we got the system, we have never said, "What did they say?"

The box came with serious damage, and the subwoofer came in bad shape. It is not clear to me if the soundbar and subwoofer is performing as expected due to the damage that the package received. Sometimes it sounds better than tv, but many others times the sound is flat. To top it of, Google assistant is not built-in in this soundbar, at least not un the US. So integration with Google home is only possible with samsungs app, but nothing can be done other than turn on/off the bar (i.e., it is useless).

There are two HDMI connections. Hooking up the unit was fairly simple as well as unpacking it from the box. It was very well packaged. The only issue I had was the manual did not seem to go over everything about the remote. I was able to figure it out as a tech enthusiast but some people might not be able to. I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Byłem posiadaczem zestawu kina domowego marki Denon ale miał już prawie 15 lat i dużo kabli co mnie bardzo już irytowało. Dlatego postanowiłem kupić soundbar. Dźwięk Denona niesamowity. Więc ciężko było znaleźć coś porównywalnego. Pomyślałem że może JBL. Mocny sprzęt ale to nie było to. Samsung hmm. Byłem trochę sceptycznie nastawiony ale gdy posłuchałem jak gra jak wydobywa każdy dźwięk to w tym przedziale cenowym najlepszy wybór. Byłem mile zaskoczony. Szkoda tylko że radia internetowego nie ma.

We set the speakers up around the living room which makes for excellent sound when pairing with our devices to play music. It did take some time, like a couple of weeks to finally get the settings to where I was pleased with the output. Now that I am there, no more tweaking is needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all the soundbar and subwoofer combination is excellent, but when paired with the newest Apple TV 4K and Samsung QN90A TV over eARC there are constant sound drops and ‘pops’ that can’t seem to be remedied no matter what settings are selected. I’ve learned to live with it, but it truly is very frustrating as I often miss dialogue in scenes and need to rewind. If I had known there would be this many issues prior I would’ve likely have saved my money and forgone this purchase.

There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar. First, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Next, update the firmware on your soundbar. The easiest way to accomplish this would be to download the SmartThings app and connect your Soundbar to Wi-Fi. This will allow you to not only download any firmware updates but also control your entire soundbar on the screen of your smart device. Please also verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. Then, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Next, connect your Apple TV directly to your Soundbar via HDMI 1. On your Samsung TV has a feature called Audio Pass-Through. You can use this feature to correct your audio-sync issue if you are connecting to a Samsung TV. On your TV go to Settings > Audio > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through. If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. i really like the sounds paired with the samsung frame tv. i have this set up in my office / bonus room so the combination looks and sounds good. the problem... when i want to listen to music via alexa app the music cuts out (goes silent for about 2 seconds) on almost every song or every few minutes. it's not a wifi issue all other alexa devices work fine. i have read this is an issue on several boards. here to hoping they fix the problem with a firmware update.

I just bought a house with a bigger livingroom and that sound bar wasn't cutting it. I upgraded to the Samsung HW-Q900C and WOW what a difference. The soundbar is massive and came with a subwoofer which my other didn't. The sound is loud and crisp and the bass at full blast is house shaking. I usually am not a huge sound guy, but I can really appreciate this Samsung soundbar. This install was a breeze. Plugged in the hdmi into my samsung TV and soundbar and the TV recognized the soundbar. Just had to hit continue and it started working immediately. Subwoofer connected to the bar wirelessly and instantaneously. Couldn't get much easier. I would definitely recommend the Samsung HW-Q900C to anyone looking for an easy to use and quality soundbar.

There were two features that I thought were great. The subwoofer has the ability to tune itself to its physical surroundings, which was very useful. Also, there is a feature called Q Symphony where you can play the soundbar with your Samsung TV's speakers also. This give you a richer, surround sound feel to the audio.

My only slight complaint would be the settings adjustments on the sound bar. They are a bit clumsy, but you’re not changing settings all that frequently anyway. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase, and am particularly enjoying Amazon Music, which broadcasts much of their content in Dolby Atmos.

The built in Alexa is a nice touch but what I found even better was the sound bar’s boosted bass mode. I will say without a doubt if you love having a cinematic experience In the comfort of your own home this will be the cherry on top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Q900C has been an awesome soundbar and subwoofer. The audio quality coming from different sources has not disappoint. The setup was easy when connected to my Q Series Samsung TV. Used mainly for movies and shows, there has been zero cons with audio. The center and upfiring speakers with Dolby Atmos content has by far blown out the other soundbars in my other rooms. Voice quality is clear and crisp even with default settings that i do not plan on changing. That is an indicator of a well balanced system. The sounds stage is wider than the actual soundbar which is impressive. I have not been passed level 16 on the volume as it can get very loud. The subwoofer produces low level sounds with clean bass even at higher levels. Overall, after many test with other manufacturers this has been the best soundbar and subwoofer I have purchased thus far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this to my living room tv and it has never worked right, the 2 wireless speakers don't connect 3/4 of the time and when they do they phase in and out, the sound bar is very good, clear audio when people speak on screen and excellent sound all around, the bass speaker is ok doesn't really have that thumping bass but it is ok over all i would say if your going to spend this kind of money there are other better options

i bought this looking to upgrade to a high end dolby atmos soundbar. the sound quality of the bar is excellent but like many people are having an issue with their hw-q950s failing the auto eq tuning repeatedly. i am having the same problem with my hw-q900. hours on calls with support and resets and trying every possible location for the sub-woofer and all fails. sadly until they can get this key feature working i'd stay away.

The sub automatically connected to the sound bar, and satellite speakers connected after a push of a button. While I was setting the unit up, I had Our Planet II playing, and out of the box without touching any equalizing, I was already amazed by the sound quality compared to my Vizio (similarly priced) system. I am looking forward to fine tuning this to my space, but I am already impressed with the spatial sounds and deep bass this system provides. I currently have a QN-90aa TV, and it synced and recognized the sound bar immediately after plugging into the HDMI-ARC port. Our living space is very open with tile flooring, so echoing was a problem with my previous system. However, Samsung has managed to make the sound feel directed towards the seating area and creates the feeling of sitting at a theater. I cannot recommend this more.

How could they get great sound out of little speakers. Well they do get great sound. And the bass module does not sound "boomy". And we never say, "what did they say". I tried that but a bit cumbersome until I realized it had already connected wirelessly. I changed my setup to plug from my Cable into my TV and my Speaker, and subwoofer, both worked wonderfully via Wi-Fi, and WOW! Much easier than I was expecting.

Movies are like you are in the theater and music sounds like you are there live. The only issue I have is switching between HDMI inputs on the sound bar for the 2 game systems I have running into it. It doesn't always switch and I have to use the app to change sources.

The sound quality is good for movies and general TV watching, but the sound is not that great when using Bluetooth to play music from my Samsung phone. The Soundbar app does make minor sound adjustment easier than trying to make the same adjustment on the device itself. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would put it at an 8.

The subwoofer however has had issues since the beginning. It sounds as though it has been blown, but once you reconnect it the sound is clear again for a while and then it continues with a strange reverb. Never been able to get it to work correctly.

It sounds pretty average, I purchased thinking it would be amazing but if the content you watch doesn't support ATMOS, which most content doesn't other than specific movies it's not worth it. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase this. It is not worth the money. Also the interface is really poorly design, it's just a few LED dots that tell you which preset the soundbar is on.

h OKI had the product for a while now and while I do enjoy it a lot there are some issues that I have. The main one being it's shoddy integration with the SmartThings app and the second thing being its like of VRR support. Now I know this isn't the Q990C But at this price point I do feel like it would be great. I use this one as the sound bar for my main tv and I will say the sound quality is incredible. It's nice and robust and the sound is enveloping. I made sure to purchase the rear speakers to go with it and surely happy that I did. Set up a superhit easy with the SmartThings app, however after a week or 2, it is unable to pick the soundbar. I will be sure to check online for any further software updates. So far, I have not experienced any degradation in video quality when passing my Blu-Ray video signal through the soundbar. Other than these minor issues, I'd say that it is a great and afforable purchase.

Integrates well with the TV, using speakers from both for a fuller sound. I did notice, however, that when watching sports it sounds better with just the soundbar. Using the HDMI ARC with the Frame TV is easy and works pretty easily when plugging an HDMI input to the soundbar directly (so I don't have to access the Frame box). If the speakers are connected via HDMI, there are no issues. However, if it's connected via WiFi, it sometimes disconnects and I have to reset the speakers and reconnect to WiFi, which is very frustrating. Otherwise, the sound quality is great when it's working properly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have many Samsung items in my home and I use the Samsung Smart things app so I thought adding my new soundbar was going to be a breeze but boy was I wrong.  I am having problems pairing the soundbar to the app and also with my Samsung television.  Once I finally paired it I turned off the television and I was having connection issues again. The soundbar is huge way bigger than I expected therefore I will need to mount it on my fireplace.  I can say that the sound is amazing I was so startled by the base when it started working and was immediately impressed.  I did have to purchase the optical cord to make the soundbar work properly.  The box arrived damaged but I am sure that is not the reason for the connection issues.  I used a test station to check the quality of the woofer and soundbar and it was really good. My son and I had a movie night and felt like we were in the theater.  I received this product at a discounted rate for my honest review.

I was skeptical about the Dolby Atmos, considering the vaulted ceiling, and decided to pair it with two rear speakers which also produce the Atmos effect. I can definitely hear the overhead effect, although it’s probably not as consistent due to sloped ceilings. Overall, great sound bar.

WOW what a product, I tried Bose, Sonos, Sony, Kef, JBL, etc. This bar and subwoofer blow the competitors out of the water. It's very impressive what Samsung has done. This is my first Samsung speaker of any kind and I am incredibly impressed. You think there are many more and bigger speakers in the room.

Zdecydowanie odradzam ten sprzęt. Niby 7.1.2ch a bardzo słabo to wygląda. Do tego ciągłe problemy z HDMI-CEC, problemy ze zmianą głośności i wyłączaniem soundbara. Do tego sam włącza się mikrofon z alexy czy innego assistenta. Aplikacja na telefon do tego urządzenia również fatalna. Ostatni zakup od Samsunga.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Movie night has never been as immersive, resounding, and booming as it is now that I've got this set up with my 85" Samsung TV. I would rather sit at home and watch a movie now, than go to a movie theater. The picture is clearer, the sound is crisper, and there are no people talking and ruining the movie.

The Dolby atmos supports creates a true surround system filling the house with rich audio. It was easy to setup and overall performance excellent for music and movie.
