Adaptive sounds gives you the best sound but I found myself going back to DTS//virtual setting ever time. Set up was easy and we were enjoying great sound. The center channel provides clarity to voices and dialogue. I had a 7.1 system before and the special effects and surround sounds would drown the dialogue. I tried HDMI connection and also the digital cable and was satisfied with both. My tv recognized the soundbsr and I was also able to easily connect to fire cube. Very please with the sound, the look and performance. The grey cloth material looks expensive and matches our furniture.

When viewing TV or movies, there are 3 channels, including a dedicated center speaker for voices. This soundbar is ideal for what I require for the space in my workout room. This is ideal for tiny living rooms and rooms. The base is adequate but not explosive; the bass will be considerably more prominent depending on the music. The specifics of this soundbar are that I can hear more instruments in music as well as outside noises when viewing movies. This is owing to the additional images and sound provided by the five channels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have ever owned a soundbar and with it being a Samsung aswell, the hw s50a all in one soundbar was perfect for my console table in my living room nice size,fit well for the small space I had and the sound was nice and clear not muffled ,very easy to hook up with easy to follow directions,has the built in middle speaker,comes with the hdmi cable and batteries for the remote and has Bluetooth .loved the style and shape and the fact that it comes with two stands that you can attach the the soundbar on your wall .I liked the fabric material that was on the soundbar very well made ,but would have loved it in the black material aswell as the soundbar.

She immediately said, "Searching and the sound that came out of it was awesome! The room was filled with magnificent sound and I opted to use the Bluetooth connection because it was very simple. The Wi-Fi connection is also great. When watching my favorite series or movies, I was extremely surprised that I noticed the difference in the sound quality when using the soundbar instead of the television speakers. Great job, Samsung!

i'm so impressed with the quality of this soundbar that i've recommended it to several friends who are also blown away by the room filling virtual x surround sound that seems impossible from such a small and inexpensive unit. it also includes many features seldom found at this price point, such as adaptive sound, a seven band equalizer and most importantly, dts virtual x that fills a medium sized room with immersive sound that bounces off the walls and even the ceiling, creating a theater like experience without having to leave your couch. highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HW-S50A All in one sound bar is far more superior in looks and sound to 30 inch equivalents and at the low price also include DTS Virtual:X technology, also has an option to add a subwoofer (which we plan to buy too) and optical input. The sound bar is modern designed and even the packaging is stylish and easy to unwrap and install. The soundbar does not come with an optical cable, however I used an existing one to connect it to my TV and was very easy to get it started. We current using it to watch netflix and amazon prime movies and love the Virtual:X feature and only without TV sound. Furthermore the audio guidance in conjunction with remote makes the navigation simplified and effective. This is well recommended.

You can lay it flat under your TV or you can hang it on the wall, they even include brackets. It was so easy to set up, I just plugged it in and my TV automatically recognized it. My TV remote works for the volume and it turns on/off with my TV remote, so one remote is a plus! The sound is very clear. I love the Adaptive Sound Lite mode, it really enhances the sound experience to what I'm watching. This is the upgrade I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this soundbar.

However, I was pleasantly surprised with the clarity and adaptability it displays. The Samsung soundbar is great for most applications and the sound is not overpowering. Only possible drawback is for those audiophiles(which I'm not) that is looking for the perfect sound. You may not consider this a stand-alone piece for your audio setup. Of course, additional pieces can be added. Overall, checks most my boxes for what is expected.

Easy link up straight out of the box to our Samsung TV through Bluetooth. It came with the HDMI cable (currently used with) but unfortunately no optic cable. Sound is clear and loud compared to just TV speakers. Various modes to choose from for different experiences (DTS Virtual mode our favorite), all great sound and the ability to adjust bass is great. As for the look we got the grey model and it goes great with any decor in our opinion. Does have a fabric texture which looks nice and feels nice as well. Box came with mounts so you can have it lifted under or over TV. Overall this is an amazing soundbar and we are happy we went with this model. Highly Recommend!

We have no subwoofer and it still sounds amazing. It was easy installation. This speaker has voice assistant and bluetooth. I love that we can put our phone to speaker and plays music. The voice assistant is amazing. We use this speaker for movies sports and just for regular TV. The sounds is amazing for movie and sports. The sleek cloth design works well with our décor.

I have an outdated soundbar that kept giving me issues and have been on the hunt for a Samsung soundbar for about a year. I wanted it to match my Samsung TV. I am not disappointed on this little soundbar. It gives me a great sound and it is very pretty to look at. It matches everything I own. Sometimes it's hard for me to hear TV shows or movies and that's why I like having a soundbar. I hung it up over my bed and use bluetooth to connect to the TV. It works amazingly like the Samsung TV and soundbar were made for each other. The old soundbar didn't want to connect half the time-so I was a little worried. Not worried anymore the soundbar compliments the TV very well and they work so well together. I could not be happier about this!

I bought the set with sub and rear speakers, I’ve had it for a year or so and I enjoy it very much, best system I have ever owned. You can set volume on each speaker set individually controlling volume on bar center speaker, main volume controls all. Woofer - separate volume available, rear speakers - control volume on different setting. It sounds great too, bass, treble adjustable . Totally worth buying all three separate pieces. Different sound settings depending on what you are using it for.

I mostly use it with my TV to play news and movies streaming live on my bedroom and my favorite is the 3D sound. The professionally package speaker come with a wall mount kit, however we did not use it since a desk-top was already perfectly placed under my TV. Connection and initial startup is simple using an optical cable.

We thought we had hearing problems. This Samsung sound bar is so clear and the sound of music. Is amazing.The bar itself has 5 speakers. I do like that we can connect with Alexa. Mode d'emploi plus que rudimentaire et incompréhensible. La documentation livrée avec le matériel devrait à minima indiquer où/comment trouver une documentation digne de ce nom sur internet, ce qui n’est pas le cas. Depuis la connexion laborieuse de la barre sur ma télévision SONY, la télévision perd régulièrement la capacité de recevoir les commandes de la télécommande, quelles que soient celles-ci : variation du son, changement de chaîne, arrêt de la télé… Phénomène identique quelle que soit la télécommande utilisée : j’en utilise 2 différentes mais compatibles, mais quand l’une ne marche plus, l’autre non plus. Elles semblent se reconnecter après un arrêt de la télévision de 24h Quand tout marche, barre son satisfaisante (bon son). Mais grosse frustration quand les télécommandes n’opèrent plus. Donc je ne recommande pas ce produit

The quality of sound is definitely way above of what you would expect for the price. Has several options to adjust the equalizer, so you will sure find the best setting for you. Finally, the bar is very good looking, and from what I see, seems to be very well made.

I thought that getting one from the same manufacturer would solve my paring problem. It did pair with the TV, but it does not provide continuous pairing nor proper volume control. Additionally, the control buttons on top of the soundbar are extremely difficult to see (same color as fabric covering).

By default, you can adjust the Soundbar volume using the Samsung TV’s remote control when connected via HDMI or digital optical audio. Je viens d'acheter cette barre de son, j'ai trouvé que lors du démarrage soit que la diode de coupure son clignote ce qui rend la télécommande inopérante ou elle fonctionne quelques secondes puis elle se coupe, après avoir coupé l'alimentation le fonctionnement est normal. Malheureusement la mise à jour avec l'application est impossible ainsi que l'enregistrement du produit avec le QR code

This is super amazing for the game and half time show. It's in a smaller room so sound is bouncing off of the walls. The Dolby digital 5.1 really works. It appears to be 3D. This is my first sound bar and I'm not sure what took me so long to purchase one.

I have a Samsung phone & TV, that are great, so I picked up this sound bar, it was not a mistake. There is just one thing I think I would add or change, the lights when you adjust the sound, etc, they should also be on the side so when you do an adjustment you can see them. Just a thought?

I bought this device to add clarity to the sound from my cheap 32" LG TV. It did the exact opposite of what I wanted, making voices muffled and garbled, with woomphy low end that muddied the overall sound from the TV even further, and a reduced high end response. Terrible product, couldn't return it to the shop fast enough.

Shape & Style: Most of the soundbars in the market comes with the flattened shapes but this sound bar comes with a oval and unqiue shape which looks really futuristic. 2. Installation: Installation is really easy to handle as it comes with the manual with easy to follow instructions. It took me 15 mins to unbox, setup and everything. 3. Sound: Sound quality is amazing as it has different modes in it i.e. Adaptive, which works really great and adapt the sound as per video being played. Bass: Gives you a really great feel while playing sound full of music as it gets you immersed in whatever you are listening. 4. Bluetooth Connectivity: Capability of getting it connected with any of the devices. i have use it with phone as well to play my music and it was quite interesting to experience it. Overall, I ll rate this product as 10/10 and it had all the capabilities which i was looking for to enjoy my daily tv programs, videos and music

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging for this soundbar was very nice and compact. Unboxing was fun and everything was in it's correct place. I'm impressed with the look and feel of the materials surrounding the speaker. Connecting to the TV was a breeze. The sound was instantly much better than my previous sound bar. I like the ergonomically-designed but simple-featured remote with it's toggle buttons for volume and bass. The sound quality is quite crisp and clear but doesn't have much bass thump. The manual suggests that a separate subwoofer is optional (I wish I had that to accompany this speaker)! The bluetooth connects well with phones, tablets and even Alexa. The size of the speaker is a bit wider (fatter) than I'd like so it barely stays on the mantle below my TV. It does have some adequate metal brackets for mounting to a wall but doesn't allow much versatility in positioning. I wish this speaker had a light on the front of it that would blink to indicate power or user-interface remote inputs. Overall, I'm impressed with this speaker's looks, quality of construction and especially the sound!
