Super vitesse et cryptage intégré, mais malheureusement il peux poser des soucis, certe reconnu par Windows, mais pour plusieur logiciel comme pour le partitionner, ou faire des sauvegardes du disque sont inexploitable, juste la sauvegarde Windows 7 intégré à Windows 11, peut le faire, à ma connaissance. Et encore, ensuite obligé de refaire toutes les clés bitlocker, de toutes les partitions du SSD. Mais sinon de très bonnes caractéristiques, et pour moi dans un NUC intel ultra 2, aucun soucis de chaleur même sur de la génération d'IA sur une heure. 7100 Mo/s en lecture et écriture 6900 Mo/s avec cryptage matériel.

I love how fast it can read and write files to and from the hard drive. I can literally transfer a 150 GB game in maybe 2 mins if not less. I really like the product and am glad I got this one. I didn't know which brand to choose so I just stick to my belief that when in doubt always trust or choose Samsung as a brand because they're the most innovative and make the best products and they didn't miss the mark with this SSD either just like I expected, great quality and advanced product that smoothly runs faster than a bullet when I need it!

I've never had a faster, more responsive system in my life and it was worth every penny. Speaking of pennies, the largest NAND chip manufacturers are throttling their output by half at this very moment, so if you've been looking to upgrade your PC's memory, I would do so ASAP ! Replaced it with an old version, immediately getting 2X data transfer speed. The system loaded very quickly, and the whole system transfer was easy. Samsung provides tools, data migration applications with an easy-to-follow manual, and a monitoring application “Magician” on their website. The real-world feel is much closure to the 990 PRO data specification. It is stable, easy-to-use & install, and fast SSD in the market. Instead of waiting for several minutes, just taking several seconds, it is a game changer in the data storage solution.

Upgraded to this 4TB model for video editing and the difference is night and day. Its M.2 2280 form factor offers perfect compatibility with my motherboard setup. The 2,400 TBW endurance rating gives me great peace of mind for heavy workloads. It handles large file transfers and 4K scrubbing with ultra-low latency. The integrated heatsink provides excellent thermals, keeping temperatures low during intense rendering. The massive throughput speeds mean I get maximum PCle 4.0 performance. Plus, the Samsung Magician software makes it easy to monitor drive health and keep the firmware updated. It's a premium investment, but worth every penny for the reliability.

I was extremely impressed because I use a lot of photo editing software to display some of my creations I make by hand, and this has been able to have the application load without missing a beat. My prebuilt PC had an SSD, but it was ridiculously small with 128gb and was intended only for the operating system but still had some programs installed on it. I would run out of space frequently and the Samsung 990 Pro w/Heatsink worked well with plenty of space for me to use. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for more disk space and faster loading of programs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I installed the Samsung 990PRO in our playstation 5. It was super fast and very easy to install. It took us one screw driver and about 2 minutes to install the memory drive into the memory expansion slot. After booting up, the system prompted us to format the stick and it took about 30 seconds. Games transferred quickly to the SSD memory and we had more room on the console to run our favorite games. I’m a big fan of the quality construction and the blazing speeds. The pre installed heat sink was a plus and we didn’t have to put any cooling jelly. I highly recommend the 990 PRO to any gamers out there!

Non reconnu par Samsung Magician, un comble ! Cependant reconnu immédiatement par Windows 11 et la gestion des disques. Heureusement, il ne me servira pas à y installer le système d'exploitation (Data migration n'aurait pas fonctionné puisque dépendant de Magician... il y a quelques années les deux log étaient distincts). Est le firmware à mette à jour ? Le site de Samsung propose un fichier iso sans explications hélas !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 3 year old 512GB drive as my boot drive in my gaming desktop and the speed on this is crazy fast. First benchmark gave me almost 7400 MB/s reads! Writes were at nearly 6900 MB/s! I could tell immediately my rig booted up faster. Game loads were also incredibly fast. The included heatsink with LED is pleasing to look at and is actually visible from my motherboard. The heatsink will be much better than the motherboard shield. I have other Samsung SSDs for storage as well and the magician software helps me track on the health of the drives. Samsung never disappoints on storage devices!

We bought in Dec 2024 the 990 pro 2tb Heatsink version for our PS5. After installing the drive, a few minutes later the PS5 started crashing randomly. We removed the drive immediately but the PS5 continues to crash which we never experienced before and we have the console for years. After reading more about this drive, it is clear that it needs a firmware update. So now we need to find an external ssd docking that will work with ssd-s with heatsink and also with the Samsung magician software which seems to be another challenge. I have always been a Samsung fan but this experience is highly disappointing..

This drive is a piece of junk and Samsung's support for them is even worse. I bought 2 of them for my Alienware R15 system. One for the boot drive and one for the gaming drive. Randomly one or the other drive would just disappear completely from the system until I fully powered it down. If the boot drive disappeared the computer would completely crash. If the gaming drive disappeared I would get booted out of whatever game I was playing. Samsung did attempt to replace the drive after numerous calls, and emails and finally a email to corporate. But it seems that didn't solve the issue. Ended up purchasing a different brand gaming NVME drive and have been rock solid since.

PlayStation has a list of requirements for an SSD to be capable of handling PS5 games and the 990 Pro easily surpassed all of them. Read speeds were excellent and far beyond what was recommended and I didn’t suffer any problems such as lag or errors when using this SSD. I can easily recommend this SSD for gaming or even in computers. I transferred several games from my internal drive to the Samsung and even though they were several hundred gigs the transfer went through within a couple of minutes which far exceeded my expectations.

My laptop was booting faster and running quieter as the fan was not going as much as before. Installing it was simple. The only hassles I had were getting the back of my laptop off (which, for some reason, is always a pain) and transferring the OS from the old hard drive to the new one. For some reason, the transferring software had difficulty recognizing the Samsung SSD. But once it was installed and the OS transferred, my laptop was a more enjoyable experience. Definitely worth getting.

I use it as an OS drive but also for gaming, my computer now boots up super fast and the game loading screens don't take eternity like it used to. I got the heatsink version because my only m.2 slot is under my graphics card on my motherboard, so I was concerned that it might overheat. The heatsink keeps the temperatures in a good range so I don't have to worry about it. I'm using it with a PCI-e 3.0 motherboard, since I haven't upgraded my system yet, it works great with backwards compatibility. I haven't had any problems with it. I recommend it to those looking for a good SSD.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. What a great component to add to my computer. I ended up putting it in a older desktop with PCIe 3 versus gen 4. The first thing I noticed was the weight. The heatsink is dense and heavy. It dissipates the heat extremely well. The performance is great although I am not able to run at full capacity until my new PCIe 4 computer is finished. I used Samsung's Magician software to control and run the performance numbers. I used the data migration function of the Magician software and it was seamless. The led features of the heatsink make this a gamer's dream to finish off the perfect build.

Der Einbau der M.2 SSD erfolgte problemlos und der Test konnte Starten. Bei PCIe zeigt die SSD erstaunlich gute und dauerhaft schnelle Lese-und Schreiberaten ohne Einbruch im langfristigen Betrieb. Bei kleinen Dateien liegt die durchschnittliche Übertragung niedriger im Vergleich zu einzelnen großen Dateien. Die Temperatur ist während des ausführlichen und langen Lese-und Schreibetest immer im grünen Bereich geblieben. Auch subjektiv startet der PC und vor allem eine Games schneller und er läuft insgesamt flotter. Ich kann eine klare Kaufempfehlung für das Produktaussprechen und würde es mir jeder Zeit erneut zu legen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I didn't have a 980 as well to compare frequently, this would likely be 5 stars. But I feel that the heatsink is sort if a waste and really doesn't do much. The computer is a bit older and has more firepower in it's hardware because it is for 3d design, so maybe it isn't the heatsink as much as more powerful hardware in a slightly older computer, but on the other side of the coin I definitely feel like it's a once you need heatsink, you need a newer cpu or other hardware or a new computer, and heatsink isnt going to fix that sort of relationship. I still feel that the 980 is top on the market while the 990 is a close second. But if I get another one I don't see a reason for heatsink tbh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this Samsung 990 Pro solid state drive with my PS5 and the installation took about 3 minutes. Once the drive was installed, the formatting took about a minute, and then another minute to transfer an 80GB file from one hard drive to the new one. In under 10 minutes I doubled the size of the storage I had available and can now add additional games and content to my machine. It seems that now that I transferred the game to the new Samsung Pro 990 drive, it loads slightly faster than before. Overall I'm very happy with this drive and look forward to the extra space and increased speed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this SSD to install in a PS5. The 990 Pro with heatsink worked perfectly. It was a fairly easy install once the cover gets removed. It fits very well with the heatsink attached to it. Once installed, the PS5 recognized it and formatted it. It now shows the full 1TB available. Now I can finally update my games. Performance: It showed that the max speed was over 6500MB. The loading times are no different than the built in storage. The games run smoothly as normal. I really recommend this upgrade for any PS5 since the built-in storage only gives you about 660GB of usable storage.

I use it as my boot drive and let me tell you that my pc starts up incredibly fast. If I have to access any files on that drive, there is absolutely no wait times. I can use multiple windows open and access them with no worries. I also love the fact that if you download the Samsung magician software, you update it to the latest firmware and even customize the led light on the drive as well. It also matches my pc colors with the red and black design on the drive. Very happy with it and I would definitely recommend this drive to anyone that is looking for a top tier nvme drive that is not only fast but reliable.

Once installed, you turn the PS5 on and it walks you through the rest automatically. Games run lightning fast, as fast if not faster than the stock SDD the PS5 comes with. I've played extensively for the last few months and have had no issues whatsoever. PS5 doesn't get any hotter than it did before the extra drive was installed, which never got hot to begin with. Very happy customer here. If you're looking to upgrade your PS5 hard drive, this is as good as it gets.

I decided I needed more space when I noticed how much space my Audii Books were taking, so I shopped around and picked up the 4tb 990 Pro w/heatsink while it was on sale. I'm already upset I didn't but at least 1 more, as the amount of data we create only gets larger each year. I did have to remove the heatsink to fit the drive in my Samsung laptop, but I just put the older 980 Pro inside it. Makes for a safer portable backup that way. The 980 Pro was fast. This 990 Pro is visibly faster when copying files. I'd recommend it to anyone in need of saving their data and doing it quickly. If submit a photo, but who wants to see a pocus of a laptop? Lol!

[Diese Bewertung wurde im Rahmen einer Werbeaktion gesammelt.] Habe sie gegen eine alte 970 Evo ausgetauscht. Dateien lesen/schreiben gefühlt doppelt so schnell. Spiele laden so ca. 20-30% schneller, grob gemessen. Beim Bearbeiten von großen Dateien, z.B. wenn ich Game Capture schneide, merke ich auch, dass das alles mehr flutscht … Temperatur und Energieeffizienz kann ich jetzt nicht viel sagen. Darauf achte ich in der Regel nicht. Mein Rechner ist allgemein zwar sehr High-End, aber auch energieeffizient und das macht von einer zur andern NVMe keinen großen Unterschied. Da ist sie aber bestimmt im Vergleich trotzdem besser als die alte.

I got it back in December 2024 and it hasn't given me a single issue. I got it with the Heatsink because I already knew it was going to see a lot of use, I play frequently and have a lot of games. Currently sitting at over 80% capacity used and it still performs efficiently. It doesn't throttle or slow down performance, even on long play sessions. Speed and performance have been consistently excellent. On initial setup, the speed test showed just under 6,600MB/s speeds for my PS5. I've been playing games as demanding as cyberpunk or elden ring and they all play as if they were installed internally, no issues whatsoever.

It now runs 3x faster than it did before, and doesn't overheat either! It's amazing for gaming. I can't even believe it's even the same laptop honestly. It was also very easy to set up. I cloned over my HDD, plugged it in and it was ready to go! The Samsung Magician app is not required, but it makes it very easy to see your SSD's health and stats. I really wish I bought more than one lol I love it so much. I would love to upgrade more PC parts from Samsung in the future!

Especially once I got the PlayStation 5 pro and put it in that system, it really helped the game and the frame rate. Everything everything was moving so much smoother, so much faster. And so that's why I am interested in getting a new one. And I highly suggest that u choose the Samsung sSD with heat sync, gotta have the heat sink this time. I warm and go with the newest and I don't know if they can go above 2 gigs or 4, but I hope I could have a 4 gig 1 installed. That would be really nice, but 2 would be fine.

This has kicked up or refresh rate but dramatic speeds.. games are loading faster and smoother,the computer boot up was lightening speed..no waiting like we had been experiencing. The video processing speed was much better than our computer had previously had as was file transfers! I can't say enough good things about the Samsung 990 PRO w/Heatsink PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD 1TB! Its such a great addition to our PC!! Can't wait to keep using it and see what else it's improving!!

Currently i have it installed in a M4 Mac Mini dock going across a 10gbs usb-c and it is fully saturating that connection. I am looking at getting a separate thunderbolt 4 SSD enclosure so i can take advantage of the full speed this drive can produce. The drive was easy to format, has managed heat well, and has been rock solid in regards to usage and stability. Huge fan of the Samsung line of SSD's and this one is currently sitting at the top of all of them that i have used and tried.

It will work with any modern CPU from the last few years as well, which is a good thing! You have pretty good storage size options depending on your budget and needs as well! The heatsink does a great job at keeping it cool even under demanding tasks! And the new Samsung magician app has an easy to use interface where you can update the firmware, check the health and also the temps of the SSD! All in all it's a great product!

U mnie na asusie b650e-f gaming osiąga najwyższe parametry jakie są opisane w odczycie i zapisie. Mam co prawda port pcie 5.0 x4 ale na razie są spore problemy z dyskami pcie 5.0 więc nie chciałem ryzykować, do tego strasznie się ponoć grzeją....ale port na przyszłość się przyda jak już ogarną dyski pcie 5.0. Tymczasem ta szybkość dysku mnie satysfakcjonuje, mam 1TB na system gry i programy. Widzę różnicę między poprzednim pcie 3.0 x4. Jedynie cena...ale to topka, mimo tego kupiłem przez allegro z gwarancja najniższej ceny także zawsze to coś na plus.

This beast can last you years of daily use before wearing down and the transfer speeds are really fast rather than normal ssds (I always get an average of 5GBps lowest speeds on heavy transfers and 7GBps for basic stuff) and those that are made for gaming and file transfer, with this SSD Samsung has absolutely won out every other SSD you can get for this price range. I would recommend anyone this SSD for gaming and it basic uses.

Было занято около 400 GB (vdi диски виртуальных машин). Нагрузка минимальная. Установлен в сервере на площадке, через переходник. 29 марта 2025 моментально выросла температура до 84 градуса, отключился вместе с системой. Через время удалось подключить, данные остались. Сейчас использую под быстрые бекапы. Не рекомендую для продакшена. На серевере стоит мониторинг munin. Доказательства есть.

Die neue Storage 990 PRO VNME M2.SSD ist nochmal ein gutes Stück schneller als meine bisherigen SSD und ist ideal für die Boot-Partition. Vor dem Kauf sollte man prüfen, ob das aktuelle Maibnboard die gebotene Geschwindigkeit auch nutzen kann. Falls ja, spricht einem Kauf nichts entgegen. An schnellere Geschwindigkeit gewöhnt man sich umgehend und will es nicht mehr missen. Der Einbau der SSD war problemlos und wurde sofort vom Mainboard korrekt erkannt. Die Installation von Windows war superschnell.

That was till I started using my computer for normal activity and saw a difference without having to run benchmarks and just look at the numbers. I also utilized the supplied software from Samsung to move the files and OS to the new drive. It was super simple. I highly recommend this SSD not only because it is fast but also that the supplied software makes it easy to move everything over to it and set it up.

Die 7450 MB/s Lesegeschwindigkeit bzw. 6900 MB/s Schreibgeschwindigkeit machen sich gerade bei Video- und Grafikbearbeitung sowie bei High-End-Gaming gegenüber meiner bisherigen SSD mit höchstens 5000 MB/s (Lesen) bzw. 4200 MB/s (Schreiben) sehr bemerkbar. Das geringe Gewicht der Samsung SSD von 9g zu 17g meiner bisherigen SSD finde ich ebenfalls erwähnenswert. Einfach einzubauen, allerdings liegt keine Schraube bei. Kompatibel auch für die PS5! Fazit: Sehr schnelle SSD, ich bin sehr überrascht. Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger 970 Pro nochmals in allen Bereichen schneller, so dass sich ein Umstieg definitiv lohnt!

Mam 11 takich dysków w 5 różnych kompach. Chodzą pięknie - jak chodzą. Każdy z nich, niezależnie od pozostałego sprzętu wyłącza się i konieczne jest wyłączenie i ponowne włączenie kompa. Wyłącza się i znika z systemu, tak że przy normalnym restarcie bios go nie wykrywa. Dwa - dyski raportują dość wysoką temperaturę w trakcie pracy podczas gdy fabryczne chłodzenia są zimne. Po rozebraniu tych chłodzeń okazuje się, że chłodzenie faktycznie chłodzące kości jest obudowane odizolowaną blachą w której jest tylko kilka małych dziurek.

Removing the cover(s) of the PS5 made me aware of the fact that you need to vacuum and/or blow out the dust from time to time. :| The system recognized the 990 pro immediately upon starting. Formatting was very quick and seamless. I now have an extra 2tb and don’t need to remove games when I download a new one or have to perform a large update. Loading times seem to be comparable to system storage. So far so good. Quite pleased with my purchase. Now I wish I would have splurged for the 4tb. :/

Integrate the 990 Pro with the Samsung Magician software and you have a complete solution. I was hesitant to buy at first with the initial reports of quick degradation of life expectancy. Samsung responded quickly, finding the cause was the firmware. My drive came with the latest firmware and so far so good. I had hoped it would fit in my new top end 2023 laptop. However the heatsink is substantial and it would not physically fit. Note; very few laptops can accommodate a SSD NVMe with heatsink, just too much real estate. I put the drive in one of my desktops, running an I7 with 64 Gb of memory. The drive is a performer!

The difference in speed is night and day boot times, app launches, and file transfers are all way faster now. The 4TB capacity gives me plenty of space, and the heatsink keeps the drive cool under load. Overall, this SSD has made my system feel so much more responsive and snappy. The red & black heatsink design with RBG lighting is a badads futuristic design that belongs in a pS5 or PC. Not only I have more storage, I notice its faster than the PS5's ssd internal storage.🤯 I've be playing Bo6 and Gran Turismo 7 during long game sessions I haven't notice a single stutter nor lag it. Schnelles Lesen und Schreiben von Daten erfolgt von Anfang an Problemlos. Auch der Einbau ist für die Bauweise typisch schnell erledigt. Je nach Mainboard muss man jedoch schauen ob der Einbauplatz gut zu erreichen ist. Auch die notwendige Schraube zur Befestigung wird nicht mitgeliefert, da diese zum Mainboard gehört. Hier also nochmal prüfen ob man die Schraube noch findet, sonst muss man wie ich sich um Ersatz kümmern.

But it wasn't until I installed the Samsung 990 Pro that I really got a taste for performance. It was night and day, booting up was instantaneous, opening my day to day office applications were a breeze, I could load PDFs and large documents in a snap, this is huge for work from home. As I depend on my workstaion to do all my day to day, and having this speed is amazing. I can multi task and run all the demanding applications with out being worried about loading or slow operation. I had my husband do a speed test and I could not believe the massive read and write improvement over my old SSD drive. I would highly recommend this NVMe drive to anyone looking truly unlock their computers potential.

The speed in loading, moving, copying or otherwise moving game files around is also tremendously fast.

This is the fastest snappiest SSD I have ever used! The little red light on the device also feeds my inner edge lord. I have found that the Samsung magician app is also very helpful for diagnostics and drive info. DO NOT USE BITLOCKER WITH THIS. The drive supports hardware encryption which is faster, more secure, but a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE pain to set up once you start using the drive. So don't do as I did and have to reimage your machine. Set up encryption before doing anything else.

Got it installed and configured and moved all of my PC vr games over to it and wow load speeds are so much quicker! At least 20 seconds. I would also get stuttering when loading certain games but this seems to have helped resolve almost all of that! I love the red heatsink as well. Sehr schnell. Hälz aber nicht lang. Läuft aber selbst mit Kühler deutlich heisser als eine vergleichbar schnelle wd sn850x. Ich habe mir im April privat als auch im Juli geschäftlich im Büro die 2TB Variante bestellt. Die im Büro lief sie in einem Buildserver und starb nach etwas über einer Woche den plötzlichen Tod. Meine privates Exemplar starb gestern Abend beim Browsen. In beiden Fällen ohne Ankündigung von S.M.A.R.T Fehlern sehr spontaner und kompletter Ausfall.

Make sure to install latest edition of samsung magician to benchmark and test this drive. Magician keeps it updated and running smoothly and efficiently. I installed it as my only drive on a asus tuf gaming x570-pro running windows 11 pro and using only a boot disk to install the OS did not have any problems at all. No compatibility issues at all.

The speed on this drive is really fast, I can pull start the computer to login screen in less than 10 sec and I can pull up video content edit and rewrite at very fast speeds. I have had no errors in any of the data . The heat sink that is preinstalled on this drive should keep it cool and make it last a longer time. When using this make sure to get full benefit of the speeds by installing on a 16x port.

Works great! I've never had a problem with any Samsung product. From phones to SD cards to SSD's. You get what you pay for, most of the time. I'm not sure that I needed the heatsink on a 4.0 but the next gen 5.0 is going to need then for sure. If you can afford the 2TB get it! Even if you don't think you'll need it. It has an extra gig of DRAM, and for day to day use you will notice all those 500 meg to over 2 gig file transfers you do are almost instantaneous..

I highly recommend this it's super fast, latency is great. I haven't had any problems no overheating. I switched my Kingston out for this as it ran better so it is my main memory. Throughput is excellent I have filled it up, move data to a different storage and this thing 100 times and it's still going just as strong as it did when I first bought it. I have used it in my laptop and now it is my main and my desktop. So great compatibility with different machines.

I am super happy with the Samsung NVMe drives. The speed is incredible. It is super reliable, next to no latency, & the temperature stays within optimal operating temps. Nothing speeds up a computer quite like a quality drive like these. I've had them for some years now and have had no issues at all. Have used this installed onto my PS5, but I’m really looking forward to pairing an 8TB SSD with these reading & writing speeds instead! I have no complaints from using this for additional capacity collecting video games cache data. Every game loads files/data symmetrically, fairly symmetrically when playing respectively online, and correctly every time. No other brand’s do I trust to house memory with Sony: Samsung does it right & better every time!

However, I encountered a minor issue as my motherboard has its own SSD heatsinks, and the drive could not fit with the factory heatsink installed. Top notch performance you'd expect from a high end storage device. Able to store a lot of games (not all, but quite a few) and load them at speeds faster than anything else out there. Haven't had issues with it. Just make sure you download and run the magician software to update the firmware at least once and you're good to go.

The 4tb minimum is the way to go no degrade no lag just pure top tier performance you expect from a Samsung product. BF6, RE4, COD, AC all cruise without so much as a hiccup for hours on end. No overheat, no wear heatsink keeps the drive cool. The read wrote is blazing fast and loading screens? Gone I’ll never move to another product line most reliable SSD in the game.

Die SSD Festplatte mit 1 TB läst sich super einfach einbauen und auf dem Rechner installieren. Die Funktion und die Schnelligkeit dieser Karte ist genial ich habe noch nie etwas so schnell installieren können auf einer Festplatte. Des weiteren wird sie auch nicht so warm wie andere Festplatten wenn ich die Möglichkeit hätte würde ich nur diese Objekte bei mir einbauen.

990Pro nvme ssd 2Tb. Real pain to clone and install in laptop. Samsung's Magician software is UNABLE to access the ssd from a usb adaptor. It has to be mounted in a laptop but if you only have one drive slot available you CANT clone your existing drive to it! You need a bootable flash drive to run windows from, then use cloning software. Some narcissistic Korean mid level manager is saying my hassle is not a correct use case.

The drive performs very well. The RGB can be customized which is nice little touch. Note that if you have RAID turned on some features may not work properly since that mode is technically not supported. I would use the Magician app to keep the drive updated. Overall very happy with purchase.

Returned for replacement, and the 2nd one functions as advertised - maybe even a bit faster. Overalls, I'm happy with the product, but it would be nice if the manufacturer tested them individually. Heat sink "sticky tape" needs work.. Seems to be a poor heat transfer method... Needs a wire clip and good old paste heat-sink dope.

Formatierung der Festplatte war schnell und einfach abgeschlossen. Die Übertragung von meiner HDD auf die SSD hat etwas länger gedauert, aber nach Abschluss dieser Aktion habe ich sofort eine merkliche Verbesserung beim erneuten Kopieren innerhalb der SSD bemerkt und diese ist deutlich schneller als bei meiner alten HDD. Danach wurde diese sofort im Bereich Gaming ausprobiert, in dem ich Hogwarts Legacy direkt installiert habe. Dieses Spiel war vorher auf meiner HDD installiert und ich merkte direkt in den Ladezeiten wie schnell es nur durch Einsatz einer M2 geworden ist. Mit der Größe von 1 TB können mehrere Games installiert werden - lohnt sich am meisten für Leistungsstarke Spiele um die Ladezeiten und das Spielerlebnis zu verbessern. Klare Empfehlung für Gamer mit Geld.

Meine eigenen Tests mit CrystalDiskMark bestätigen das: beeindruckende 7456MB/s beim sequentiellen Lesen und 6855MB/s beim Schreiben. Diese Ergebnisse zeigen, warum sie in unabhängigen Vergleichen ständig ganz oben landet. Zwar kam meine SSD-Version ohne Kühlkörper, aber sie läuft dennoch erstaunlich kühl. Dadurch ist sie auch für Spielkonsolen wie die PS5 sehr gut geeignet. Für jeden, der sein System – sei es PC oder Konsole – auf das nächste Level heben möchte, ist die Samsung 990 Pro ein Muss. Gerade durch die etwa 55% bessere Performance zum Vorgängermodell lohnt sich eventuell sogar ein Wechsel, wenn man wirklich das maximum an Performance nutzen möchte.

I needed more storage on my Playstation 5, so I spent a couple days comparing devices. And after those couple of days, I picked the Samsung 990 w/ Heatsink 2 TB. It was my first time installing anything like this but it was very easy to install the memory card. Playstation 5 recognize it upon start-up. I love this memory card. Reads and writes just as fast as the Playstation 5 hard drive. Definitely worth the money.

Samsung computer RAM and SSD hard drives are the only brand that I will use with all of my laptops. Having said that, the Samsung 990 Pro SSD will not physically fit in the 2 - Gen III M.2 SSD hard drive slots in the HP EliteBook 17G6 Mobile Workstation due to size constraints. I just tried last night, so I went with the 990 Pro (no heatsink) X 4TB in both M.2 slots with a 4TB EVO SSD drive in the SATA open bay.
