Picture quality is mind blowing with a brightness that looks superb in even a well lit room. During setup the tv prompts you to sign into your samsung account and port your settings from the other TVs, this is an incredible time saver and takes the hassle out of setting up a new TV. There are also improvements to the picture and sound settings that leverage AI. If you are on the fence about upgrading , once you have a Samsung OLED you will wish you had done it sooner.

Very easy to set up with so many apps already installed to choice from. Navigating with the remote is easy and intuitive. Samsung really made it easy to enjoy all that this tv has to offer. Setting up the picture with the different picture modes really helps dial in how you like to watch tv. The warm tones are warm, bright colors are vivid, blacks are actually black. This is a great tv with multiple options to tune your viewing pleasure just like you want in. I would definitely recommend the Samsung S90F. You can’t go wrong!

Watching my favorite anime shows on it has been a breeze, and I have been very happy to see high-octane action scenes play out in such a grand picture. The interface itself is also speedy and responsive, i do like the fact that the remote has solar cells too so if i leave near my window it will stay charged or at least allow itself to not die as often otherwise. But super happy with this TV. This is my 2nd Samsung TV I have owned, and I can say they don't disappoint.

We also paired this with our Samsung Music Studio 7 Speaker. You can also utilize the Q-symphony feature to get a more immersive sound between the TV and speaker. I love how vibrant and crisp the picture is. The colors are bright and more photorealistic. I can also see the TV much better because of the brightness and the anti-glare features of this TV. Watching TV when it's bright out or when we have the overhead lights on at night is no longer a problem. The TV is also equipped with many apps, so there's no need to add on a streaming device. I find the software to be more user-friendly and smoother than older iterations.

We did have to turn up the brightness but that could just be personal preference. I am not a gamer but my husband hooked up his PS4 and even with the old system, the colors were bright and vibrant. As far as the sound goes, it’s fine. Not bad, not great. Typical built in speakers. Setup was really quick and easy. The remote is small with less buttons than we are used to but I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. We originally had the tv turning on when it detected motion. Sounded cool. Ours is in too high of a traffic area for this feature. I did smoke this morning when I walked into the room and saw good morning on the pretty screen.

The inky blacks and deep colors make a very good viewing experience. The setup was a breeze, you can use Samsung smart things app to finish the entire thing. As soon as the setup finished, the TV quickly updated to the latest firmware. When watching HDR content, the display truly shines. The Vision AI companion button is helpful in getting some insights on the content playing on the screen or anything in general. The speakers on the TV are surprisingly good with dolby atmos. Tizen tv OS is very easy to navigate and looks elegant. If you have more Samsung devices, its easy to share content between the devices and the TV. This is such a fun and nice product to have at home.

During setup, there was some calm music in the background of the tv which made the setup experience so nice. Super easy to setup an account and connect streaming apps. The tv found my internet so much quicker than past tvs and I had no issue connecting to my network. The remote, let me tell you about that! I am in love with this remote too! I have had remotes that are bulky, small, difficult to use, have the mic option and dont work but this remote but this remote is sleek, the mic option actually works, the buttons don’t lag. My children’s frustration with our past tvs/remotes was that the remotes always lagged / skipped over what they wanted to select so this is wonderful. I am loving this Samsung 55-Inch S85H OLED and I cannot wait to have movie nights over the summer and fully experience all of the colors ◡̈

Setup was honestly one of the easiest I’ve dealt with, everything walks you through step by step, and the QR codes made adding streaming services quick and painless. A couple things stood out right away. The solar-powered remote is a nice touch, especially not having to think about batteries. I also ended up liking the Daily Board feature more than I expected. It shows weather and headlines when the TV is off and turns on with motion. I was a little concerned using it in a bedroom, but it hasn’t been an issue at all. Picture quality is where I was most skeptical. I’ve used other OLED brands for years, so I wasn’t sure how this would compare. But honestly, it holds up. The picture is crisp, colors look great, and it feels like a true OLED experience. Sound is better than expected too, I’m not using a soundbar and it still sounds solid. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it. It feels like Samsung is right there competing with the top OLED brands now, and I’d seriously consider them again next time.

Easy to see the inky black colors against any image on the screen. We frequently watch movies, which really show off the 4K playback, but it impressed me more when watching non 4k content. 720-1080p content, the upscaling is great. Cannot tell you are not watching 4k content. The viewing angles are great too, for a bedroom tv in the center, I can watch it from the side at my desk with out loosing any detail. Sound is not bad for such a thin tv, but the included Q-symphony allows you to pair other Samsung Bluetooth speakers for more immersive experience. The new UI is also very easy to navigate, did not take long to learn where everything is. Easy to find Apps, fast and snappy. My kids love the automatic game mode, it's like it cranks it up a notch, all their games look so much better. The rather plan on this than their monitor. We use SmartThings are home, and this OLED allows us to control our home from our TV how great is that. Over all we are loving this OLED, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great TV for any place in your home.

The side profile is surprisingly thin in person and it’s impressive how much picture quality they packed into something that slim. Setup was easy and the legs were simple to attach without any issues. It’s a little heavier than another Samsung model I own, but maybe that comes from the higher end tech inside. The picture quality is where it really stands out. Colors look rich and accurate, and the contrast is a big improvement over what I was using before. I’ve been playing my Nintendo Switch on it and games like Zelda look incredible. OLED brings out details that regular LED just can’t match. The sound quality has been excellent on its own, even without a soundbar, so I haven’t felt the need to add anything else. With all the streaming apps already built in, I haven’t needed to plug in anything extra. The smart interface is clean, quick, and easy to use, and everything loads smoothly. Overall, I would definitely choose this TV again. It’s a solid upgrade and the picture quality alone makes it worth it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Samsung OLED TV thinking we’d just be upgrading from “pretty good” to “a bit better.” Turns out we’ve accidentally brought a cinema into the lounge room. We’re definitely not tech experts. If the remote has more than six buttons, we start looking for the grandkids. But this TV was surprisingly easy to set up, and even we had it working without threatening to throw the instructions out the window. The picture is incredible. The blacks are actually black instead of that washed-out grey our old TV specialised in. Colours are so sharp we’ve caught ourselves saying, “I don’t remember that actor having so many wrinkles!” Sport looks fantastic too—you can almost see the grass stains. The sound is much better than we expected, although it still can’t drown out the neighbour mowing the lawn halfway through the footy. The smart features are great once you remember which button gets you back to normal TV. Is it cheap? No. But neither are decent tyres or a good mattress, and you use this every day. We’ve got absolutely no regrets. From two everyday Aussies who still occasionally call the remote “the clicker,” we’d happily recommend a Samsung OLED. Just be warned—you’ll spend the first week watching nature documentaries because they look so good, even if you’ve never cared about penguins before. Five stars from us. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the entry-level OLED in Samsung's 2026 lineup, this model doesn't come with the anti-glare coating that I am a big fan of, so it's more of a bedroom / basement TV than a bright living room TV. The upside of the lack of coating is the improved contrast and black levels, which makes a difference when you're watching night scenes in sci-fi or horror movies. With HDR10+ support now available across Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus, Apple TV+, and Paramount+, the lack of Dolby Vision is no longer an issue. This TV brings you the best of 4K and HDR, with no compromises. The processor on this TV is also pretty good at upscaling non-4K content. The overall user experience is pretty smooth, and Tizen OS has gotten pretty fast and responsive. The SolarCell remote light charging is pretty useful, it's nice not worrying about charging, but I really wish that Samsung would bring back the Input button or allow for a custom button. You will definitely want to pair this a soundbar, ideally a Samsung one to get the most out of the center channel Q-Symphony setup, although the feet on the TV makes the placement of certain soundbars a bit more tricky if you are not wall-mounting the TV. If you've never used an OLED before or are looking for a home theater dark room TV, the S85H is the perfect way to get started. After trying it out you will find it hard to use any other type of TV again.

The picture quality is absolutely stunning and the colors are incredibly bright and vivid. Whether I am watching a fast paced action movie or regular TV the picture has been great every time. The blacks are truly pitch black and creating amazing contrast that makes every scene pop. I am also thoroughly impressed by how natural the skin tones look. People on screen look remarkably lifelike, just like a real person standing in front of you. Navigating content is just as seamless thanks to the built-in Vision AI smart platform, which makes it incredibly simple to pull up and organize all my favorite streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO Max, etc. right out of the box. Beyond movies and streaming, this TV has proven to be an absolute dream for gaming. I hooked up my Nintendo Switch 2 and the graphics have honestly never looked better. The colors are brilliant, and the motion is incredibly smooth, completely eliminating any stutter or blur during intense gameplay. The combination of breathtaking visuals, easy app integration, and flawless gaming performance makes this model a massive step up from my previous setup. If you are looking for a premium display that handles everything from cinema to next-gen gaming effortlessly, this 2026 model is a phenomenal upgrade.

After getting the correct bolts to mount it to my existing setup (M8 machine screws, 1.25"), I was able to get everything installed without issue. I paired the TV with my new Samsung Music Studio 7 speaker, and using the Q‑Symphony feature, the TV and speaker work together to deliver really impressive sound. It’s a noticeable step up and fills the room well. One of the biggest improvements for me has been the lack of glare. In my living room, I usually deal with reflections from daylight and overhead LED lighting, but that’s no longer an issue. Watching during the day or at night has been a much better experience overall. The picture quality is outstanding. The image is extremely crisp, and blacks are truly pitch black without the light bleed you typically see on more basic HDTVs. I connected both an Apple TV and a Fire TV Stick, and everything looks fantastic on this display. I also appreciate how seamlessly the TV integrates with the Samsung SmartThings app. Having additional control and getting notifications — like alerts from the washer or dryer — is a nice bonus that fits well into my existing setup. I would highly recommend the OLED experience to anyone who hasn’t owned one yet, especially if you’re not impressed with your current TV’s performance or struggle with glare. This TV has been a major upgrade in every way that matters to me.

Setup was incredibly easy using my phone, and adding all of my streaming platforms was simple - I just scanned a QR code and confirmed the number on the screen. The interface is also extremely fast. The wait time while navigating is practically nonexistent, which has honestly been one of my favorite features. The remote has everything I need and is clearly marked, though it took me a few tries to get used to the mute button doubling as the volume switch. I also love that the remote is rechargeable instead of constantly needing new batteries. The smart TV features have been fun to explore. They aren’t perfect, but they’ve been exciting to try out. At first I didn’t realize I had the room detection setting turned on, so I was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with the weather and daily stats when walking into the room. I’ve also tried the AI assistant without much luck, but because the interface itself is so quick and easy to navigate, it really hasn’t bothered me. The TV itself is gorgeous. The screen is huge, incredibly thin, and the picture quality is honestly impressive. The colors are bright, vibrant, and super sharp across the entire screen. I’ve been shocked at the difference compared to our older TV. The speakers are also amazing and very clear, which makes movies and shows even more immersive. It has completely transformed our family movie nights and has been such a fun product to have in our home!

The brightness is excellent for an OLED panel, and HDR content looks vibrant without washing out darker scenes. Contrast is where this TV really stands out — blacks are deep and true, making movies and shows look incredibly cinematic, especially in a dark room. The 4K resolution is super sharp, and streaming content from Netflix, YouTube, and gaming consoles looks detailed and clean. Even older content upscales surprisingly well. Viewing angles are also great since the picture quality stays consistent even when watching from the side, which is perfect for family movie nights or sports gatherings. The refresh rate and motion handling are smooth for gaming and fast-action sports. Gameplay feels responsive with minimal blur, and movies run smoothly without noticeable stuttering. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been around 8 years since I updated my main living room TV. I had a 58-inch 4K TV from another brand, and I was content with it. But when I connected the Samsung OLED S85H for the first time and saw the dazzling display of colors, I felt someone had removed a filter of dullness from my eyes, and that now I was actually seeing what true colors were really like in my living room! Now, this is not my first rodeo with OLED screens. My cellphone and PC monitor are both OLEDs. But there is a marked difference from watching an OLED screen of 7/24 inches, to one of 55! The setup went smoothly, since it was automatically detected by my Samsung phone. The smart functions of the TV have all of the streaming apps you need, and it even has XBOX Game Pass remote included, so if you have a good connection, you can actually play Game Pass games on this TV with just a controller. The TV detected my soundbar without issue, and the setup only took like 10 minutes. The image quality of this TV is magnificent. The blacks are real blacks, not grey like my old TV. The colors pop with dazzling brightness and contrast, and the TV has different safeguards and functions to protect the OLED display from any burn-in. I connected my game console to the TV, and gaming here is a delight as well. Overall, this TV showed me how much TV technology has advanced in the past few years. I now regret not getting a Samsung OLED TV sooner, since I could have been enjoying my media consumption exponentially more. But better late than never! This is the best TV I have ever owned, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone.
