Samsung T7 Shield liknar mer en plånbok än hårddisk, det visar hur snabb teknologi utvecklas. Men eftersom den är så liten och saknar hållare, kan den lätt gömma sig om inte ständigt kopplad till en annan enhet. Ännu värre om man är ute och låter den glida ur fickan. Då har man blivit av både med innehåll och 2600 kr vilken är väsentlig summa för oaktsamhet. Har funderat att fästa Air tag på den, men skalet är räfflat. Att dessutom tappa Air tag för 900 kr gör saken ännu värre. Förstår inte hus Samsung tänker här. Själva hårddisken måste formateras för Mac OS och när den krypteras ska lösenord läggas i Nycklar. Det är enkelt att använda till säkerhetskopiering av EN enhet, men när man vill kopiera fler börjar Apples säkerhetssystem slå ifrån sig. Igen ska flera inställningar göras innan det går att köra som man själv vill. Men det är ju å andra sidan inte Samsungs problem 😅

Snygg och snabb SSD som känns robust och tålig när man håller i den . Ytan på hårddisken har en lite gummiaktig feel. Jag använder den främst för redigering av film direkt från disken. Funkar problemfritt. Supernöjd!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a solid ssd pun not intended it has issues with formatting some times hence the 4 star review but samsung magic dose catch most issues. I havent had any issues traveling with it so its nice that I can go far distance with out braking. Its a fast ssd and thats nice but it dose get white hot to get there. Transferring data to and from it works just fine ive had some issues with it on Linux but If your just doing the basic work. Ive has it for a few years now so it is quite resilient. Overall really solid product.

So when reviewing this portable drive like many prior purchases there is a high standard of expectations in need of validation and yet again I can easily say this product checks all the boxes from performance to Aesthetics to durability and beyond. I already know Samsungs products last, and have great performance, but I wanted to make sure this one would be tough as well! Have not been disappointed! While being almost ridiculously small for its 2TB, its fully wrapped in a casing that almost screams 'drop me! I dare ya' While I haven't yet, partially since that casing also creates a anti-slip feature, it was purchased to hold car software for my laptop, so its not always handled that nice, often in a rush to setup, look something up, and go back to work.. dirty, grimy hands, swapping from usb to usb c ports depending on laptop, sitting in whatever weather, whereever I set up, has never been an issue! It's always ready to grab and go!

When I upgraded to a docking station, the T7 connected seamlessly, even when I switched to a higher-transfer 80Gb USB-C to USB-C cable. No setup issues, no compatibility problems — just plug and go. Now for durability: this thing is unbelievable. My black lab puppy got ahold of it and turned it into his personal chew toy while we were out. I was sure everything was gone. But when I plugged it back in — it worked perfectly. Not one corrupted file. Not one issue. My heart restarted after that one! If you need something reliable, fast, compact, and tough enough to survive life (and pets), the Samsung SSD T7 is absolutely worth it.

I don't have to worry about the drive breaking and losing everything on the drive if I accidentally drop it. It works flawlessly across all brands of windows machines. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a number of the T5 drives, so I bought one of these T7 shields to be more portable and safer outdoors. Though I haven't really experienced any issues with the t5's outdoors I never really push them to the weather extremes. The t7 Shield feels like nothing is going to damage it it just gives you that satisfaction in your hand when you feel that rubber sleeve around it they both adds grip because of the grooves as well as padding. When you place down the t5s or the other SDS in this line you usually feel that metal scrape against harder surfaces that are not polished. But the T7 sheild doesn't have this issue. I would replace all my T5s with t7 Shields if I could go back. I also love how small it is even a slightly bulkier than the T5 I can slide it into my pocket and forget about it the soft grip of the t7 shield padding actually keeps it in your pocket instead of falling out like the smooth T5 metal. Performance wise it's great I've not had any issues with any of these Samsung portable ssds, the t7 Shield is extremely fast and works on everything Plug and Play including my Android devices and all of my computers and laptops. If you experience any speed issues just make sure to check your actual device USB version or the cable you use... These devices work just as they are rated. I highly recommend them for transferring things between devices or content creation storage. These devices, (because they're so small) can be clipped onto the backs of phones with the proper adapters that you can find elsewhere.
