What to do when badge notification is not appearing on icons in Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+?

When badge notifications are not appearing on app icons, check whether the following settings are enabled:

1 Settings > Notifications > Enable App icon badges

2 Settings > Notifications > Enable an app notification to receive alarm for new messages
Enable an app notification to receive new messages

Enable an app notification to receive new messages

3 Settings > Notifications > Tab which apps to receive notifications from > Enable App icon badges

4 Settings > Apps > More > Special access > Notification access > Enable Samsung Experience Home

Please note:
• If badge notifications appear on the App list icons but not on the Home Screen App icons, please remove the app icons from the Home Screen and add again

• If Samsung Experience Home is previously enabled while badge notification is not appearing, please disable and enable again
