Manage widgets on your Samsung smart watch

Two smartwatches displaying the Add widget option

Did you know you can access your smart watch's features with just a flick of your finger? Your watch has widgets, which are like previews of your favorite apps. For example, they can give you weather updates without having to open the Weather app. Just swipe left from the Home screen to see what's happening with your widgets.

Note: Available screens and settings may vary by provider, phone, or watch.

Add or remove widgets on your smart watch

Note: The steps below also apply to Gear Fit2.

Adding an exercise widget could help you keep track of your daily workout. Don't worry, adding a widget is much easier than running a lap.

From the watch's Home screen, swipe left until you reach the end of all your widgets. Tap Add or Add widget and then swipe to and tap the widget you want to add.

Note: If the maximum number of widgets has already been reached, you will have to remove a widget to add a new one.

Maybe you've been in a great mood lately and feel like you don't really need the Stress widget anymore. No worries, you can delete it or rearrange your widgets so the ones you use more often are first on the list.

From the watch's Home screen, swipe to the left until you reach your desired widget. Tap and hold the widget, and then release. To rearrange the widgets' order, drag and drop the selected widget to your desired location. Or, if you want to delete the selected widget, tap the Remove icon on the upper right.

Add or remove widgets on your Galaxy Fit

Change up the widgets on your Galaxy Fit whenever you feel like it. You'll just need to use your phone's Galaxy Wearable app to add, reorder, or remove widgets.

Open the Galaxy Wearable app, and then swipe to and tap Widgets. To add a new widget, swipe to ADD WIDGETS and tap the Plus icon next to the desired widget. Tap the Minus icon to remove a widget, or reorder widgets by tap and holding the Arrow icons and then moving the widget to the desired position. When you're finished, tap Save.

To access widgets on your fitness band, swipe left through your widgets and tap to select.
