Use Scrolling to Possibly Remove Image Retention/Burn In

To reduce and possibly eliminate image retention / screen burn, your TV is equipped with the Scrolling function. The Scrolling function excites and extiguishes the pixels evenly across the whole screen. If you have image retention / burn in on your screen you may be able to reduce and possibly eliminate this by running the scrolling pattern. You may need to run this option several times to reduce or eliminate.

Turn Scrolling On

To turn the Scrolling funtion on, follow these steps:

  1. Press MENU on the TV remote, and then navigate to and select System. 
  3. Navigate to and select Screen Burn Protection.

  5. Navigate to and select Scrolling.

  6. The Scrolling function will begin to run on the screen. Pressing any button on the remote or TV will exit the scrolling function. Run the scrolling pattern for an hour or longer to help reduce or eliminate the effects of image retention or burn in. Press any button on the remote or TV to exit the scrolling function.
