How do I set up and use speed dials on my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime?
To set up speed dials on your mobile device, from the Home screen, touch Apps > Phone > More options > Speed dial.
Touch one of the 99 available speed dial locations, and select a contact from your contacts list. If multiple numbers exist for the contact, you will be prompted to select a specific number.
To make a call using speed dial within the Phone application, dial the first digit of the speed dial number. Then touch and hold the last digit to start the call. For example, if you want to call speed dial number 25, touch 2, and then touch and hold 5. If the speed dial number is only one digit, touch and hold that number to start the call.
To quickly add a speed dial to one of the locations on the keypad (2–9), touch and hold the desired number. You will be prompted to assign a speed dial, if none has been assigned. Touch OK and select a contact.
Remove Speed Dial
Speed dial location 1 is reserved for voicemail and cannot be edited. To remove a speed dial you have already assigned, locate the speed dial location and touch Remove.
