Make Samsung Pay Your Default Payment Service

If you're always using Samsung Pay to make purchases, you should make it your default payment service. That way, when you're in a store and place your phone on the register's pinpad, Samsung Pay will be brought up automatically.

Set the Default Payment Service

Since Samsung Pay is already your go-to payment method, follow the steps below to make it your default service.

From Settings, search for and select NFC and payment. Touch the slider to turn on the NFC feature on your phone, and then touch Tap and pay. Choose Samsung Pay, and then touch the Back arrow. The next time you use your phone at a payment terminal, Samsung Pay will be your default payment service.

Note: The first time you use Samsung Pay on your phone, you will be asked to set Samsung Pay as the default payment service.
