NX58K9850: Using Delay Start on the Range

The Delay Start function lets you use the kitchen timer to automatically start and stop another cooking program. Delay Start can be set before other cooking operations for up to 12 hours.

Setting Delay Start

    Available modes: Bake/ Convection Bake/ Convection Roast/ Slow Cook/ Dehydrate/ Self-clean

  1. Choose the desired cooking method. For this demonstration, press Convection Bake on the left or right side of the panel.                   

  2. Use the number pad to set the temperature. For example, press 3, 7, 5 to set 375°F.                      

    The default temperature is 350°F.

  3. Press Cooking Time on the left or right side of the panel.                    

  4. Set the cooking time between 1 minute and 9 hours and 59 minutes (9:59)using the number pad. For example, press 1, 4, 5 to set 1:45.                 

  5. Press Delay Start on the left or right side of the panel.                    

  6. Set the starting time using the number pad. For example, press 1, 0, 0 for 1:00.                

  7. Press START/SET on the left or right side of the panel. The oven starts cooking at the set time, and turns off automatically when it completes cooking.
