Pork Chops that Just Won't Stop

  1. Bring your 1 to 2 inch pork chop to room temperature and use a clean cloth to remove excess moisture.    

  2. Preheat broiler. Touch Broil.   

  3. Touch START/SET to start the broiler. Pre-heat the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.  

  4. Drizzle the oil on top and sprinkle the pork chop with salt, and pepper corn.

  5. Arrange pork chops on pan.    

  6. Sear the pork chop for 3 minutes on one side, turn and sear the opposite side for 3 minutes on the pan.   

  7. Once seared, put it on the broil pan and broil it in the oven.  Cooking time will be 6 to 10 minutes depending on the thickness of the chops, how cool they were at the start of cooking, and whether they were brined. Start checking the chops at 6 minutes and continue checking every minute or two until the chops are cooked through.   

  8. Remove the pork chop from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.  

  9. When you are done with cooking, touch OFF/CLEAR to turn off the oven
