Using Smart Hub on your SUHD TV (UN**KS****)

Smart Hub allows users to connect their TV to the internet and have access to Apps, Games, Movies, and much more. In addition, you can enjoy photo, video, and music files stored on external storage devices. To use Smart Hub, the TV must be connected to the Internet.

Using Smart Hub

  • After pressing the Home button on your remote control, you can surf the web and download apps with Smart Hub.   

  • Some of the Smart Hub services are paid services. To use a paid service, you must have an account with the service provider or a Samsung account.   

  • To use Smart Hub, the TV must be connected to the Internet.   

  • Some Smart Hub features may not be available depending on the service provider, language, or region.

  • Smart Hub service outages can be caused by disruptions in your Internet service.   

  • You can view the entire text of the Terms & Policy document by navigating to Support > Terms & Policy.  If you want to stop using Smart Hub, you can cancel the agreement.

Connecting to Internet

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung Smart Remote, to access the Home Screen.   

  2. Using the directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select Settings.   

  3. Select Network.   

  4. Select Open Network Settings.   

  5. Select Wireless.   

  6. Select your preferred wireless network.   

  7. If prompted, enter the network password and select Done.    

  8. Your TV is now connected to the internet. Select OK to finish.    

Launching Smart Hub Automatically

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung Smart Remote, to access the Home Screen.   

  2. Using the directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select Settings.   

  3. Select System.   

  4. Select Expert Settings.   

  5. Select Autorun Smart Hub to turn this feature On/Off.   

  6. For this example we will select On, to enable Autorun Smart Hub.   

Testing Smart Hub Connections

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung Smart Remote, to access the Home Screen.

  2. Using the directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select Settings.   

  3. Select Support.

  4. Select Self Diagnosis.   

  5. Select Start Smart Hub Connection Test.   

  6. Please wait while your Smart Hub Connection is being verified.   

  7. Once your Smart Hub Connection has been verified select Close, to go back to the main menu.   

Smart Hub Reset

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung Smart Remote, to access the Home Screen.   

  2. Using the directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select Settings.   

  3. Select Support.   

  4. Using the Directional pad, scroll down the list until you reach Reset Smart Hub.   

  5. Select Reset Smart Hub.   

  6. Enter your PIN, then select Done. (By default your PIN is 0000. If you previously had changed the PIN to another 4 set number, please enter in that PIN.)   

  7. Select OK, once the reset is complete.   

Remove App on the Home Screen

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung Smart Remote, to access the Home Screen.   

  2. Using the directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select APPS.   

  3. Select Options to bring up the delete option.   

  4. Select Delete.   

  5. Using the directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select the application(s) that you would like to delete from your TV, and then select Done.   

  6. Select Delete to confirm.   

  7. Select OK to finish.
