Switch Video Sources on Your 2016 Smart TV

When you select a connected external device on the Source screen, the output of the selected device is displayed on the TV's screen.

When you turn on devices (Blu-ray players, game consoles, etc) that are connected to the TV supporting universal remote control through an HDMI cable, a pop-up message appears that either lets you switch to the output of the device or lets you set up universal remote control for the device automatically. Note that this function may not be supported on the device.

Switch Video Sources

  1. Press the Home button on your Samsung Smart Remote to access the Home Screen.

  2. Using the directional pad on your remote, navigate to and select Source.

  3. Select the desired Source.

  4. The selected Source will now appear on the TV's screen.
Note: H.264 FHD is supported up to Level 4.1. FMO/ASO/RS are not supported.
