What is Activity Zone, and How do I Use it on my Galaxy S7 Active? (SM-G891A)

The Activity Zone launches outdoor activity-related features, that offers quick access to the weather, a barometer, a compass, a flashlight, a stopwatch, and Samsung’s S Health.

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps.

  2. Navigate to Samsung folder > Activity Zone.

    Alternatively, press Active key to launch the Activity Zone by default.

  3. Mark the checkbox to agree to the terms and conditions. Then, touch START.   

  4. Follow the prompts to use each feature. The following features are available:

    • Weather: View weather conditions for you current location or a selected location.

    • Barometer: Displays your elevation and atmospheric pressure.

    • S Health: This is a shortcut to the S Health app. 

    • Compass: Displays the compass heading that your device is pointing to and also your latitude and longitude.

    • Flashlight: Allows you to use your device's LED flash as a flashlight.

  5. Touch More for more options:

    • Terms and conditions: View the terms and conditions for the Active Zone.

    • Active key setting : Customize the Active key by assigning shortcuts for long and short presses, and enabling access on the lock screen.
