Use the Clean Feature on Your Wall Oven

You can easily clean your oven with four different cleaning features:

  •  The Self-cleaning function uses high temperatures to burn off leftover grease and residue completely to powdered ash.
  •  The Hybrid cleaning function uses steam to remove leftover grease and residue.
  •  The Descale function removes minerals from the oven that affects the taste of food.
  •  The Draining function drains residue water which affects the cooking modes.

Self-Cleaning Cycle

• If the control lock out feature is activated or the oven's temperature is too hot, the self-cleaning cycle is unable to start.
• The oven door locks automatically during the cycle. You cannot open the oven door until the temperature drops to a safe/cool temperature.
• The Self-cleaning mode is only available for one oven at a time.

Before a Self-cleaning Cycle

    • The outside of the oven becomes extremely hot to touch during the self-cleaning cycle.
    • Do not line the oven walls, racks, bottom, or any other part of the oven with aluminum foil.

  • Ventilate the kitchen during the self-cleaning cycle.

You cannot set the oven for cooking until the oven is cool enough for the door to unlock.
